She kissed his cheek as they drove off, her eyes thoughtful. "It'll be great. Trust me." * * * "Well, great. Let's go watch Snow White or something."
"It's a party. We'll tell the cats all about it when we get home." * * * "Oh? Then what's your favorite?"
She rolled her eyes. "We've been together for barely a day and you already want to be a family?" * * * "Excellent. I have that one."
She paused before kissing his cheek. "Everyone needs a family," she said quietly. "Don't worry." * * * He led her to the car, opening the door for her. "Do you need to stop anywhere before heading home?"
She merged lanes before frowning, looking in the rearview mirror. "We probably should talk to Callie and Arlo about how we're planning on dividing the furniture." * * * "Lovely. We can head straight back, then. Have you ever met Mo?"
She groaned. "That's going to be awkward." * * * "He's a good cat," he said as they drove off. "A bit grumpy, I guess."
"Well, we can do that, but just not tell them that we stole their cats and blankets and lamps and coasters." * * * "Oh, thank God."
