“Probably. It’s great.” *** “I’m not sure. Unless...” He frowned, pushing up his glasses. “Did Val have a cat in her arms?”
She paused before leaning over and kissing his jaw. “Thank you for coming with.” *** “She stole Mo. She definitely did.”
“They looked so confused! It was so funny.” *** He bit his lip. “I don’t know. I feel like we kind of owe them.”
“That was the heist of the century. Well done.” *** He sighed, tugging at a lock of hair. “Want to watch the movie?”
They pulled up to the apartment and she turned to look at him, a small smirk on her face. “We did it.” *** He flopped on the couch, offering a hand to her.
She leaned over and kissed him. “Let there be many more to come.” *** He rested his arm over her shoulder, kissing her cheek before turning on the television.
She raised an eyebrow. “You want to rob a bank?” *** He kissed the top of her head. “We said Princess and the Frog, right?”
“Armed robbery. Do you have a gun?” *** His fingers played with her hair as he searched the television. “Here we go. Do you want popcorn?”
“That’s okay. I do,” she teased, observing him thoughtfully. *** He smiled and turned on the movie before standing up and heading to the kitchen to pop the popcorn.
