She advanced towards him before lightly tapping the tip of his nose with the brush. *** He leaned back into the couch, grinning at her. “I like you a lot, I guess.”
He blinked, his eyes wide with surprise. *** She kissed his cheek. "Enough to let me wear one of your shirts."
She laughed before dabbing the brush on her own nose playfully. “We match.” *** “That’s a big commitment.”
He paused, then beamed. "You're perfect, to me." *** She chuckled, moving to kiss him. "You're pretty great."
Her flush was surprisingly sudden, sweeping across her face. “I’m pretty mean to you, Landon,” she muttered. *** “You’re just saying that because you stole my shirt.”
"I dunno," he said idly. " To me, you are." *** She laughed brightly. "Not true! I really, really like you!"
She paused, tilting her head as she considered him, her green eyes soft. Finally, she leaned in and kissed him, her fingers brushing the back of his neck. “You’re sweet.” *** “And my shirts!”
"Tsk tsk, Landon Rhodes. Another lie. I've seen you be sweet to multiple people. It's just the way you are." * * * "It's about 50/50."
