She sighed dramatically before taking his hand. "Hmph. Fine." * * * "You've always had that ability."
They continued through the beds until she stopped near on, slightly smaller than Landon's. "I don't really see the importance of all this," she said, running her hand over the mattress. "I mean, they're just beds." * * * "Most of the time, then."
"But some are more comfortable than others. Do you like this one?" *** "What about when we first met?"
She looked down at it before flopping onto it. "It's alright..." * * * "Oh, definitely. But I feel like that's to be expected."
"This one will work," she said agreeably. "It's just a bed." * * * "Well... didn't you have butterflies?"
She flushed but tried to play it off. "Did I have a choice?" * * * He gave her a small smile before kissing the tip of her nose. "Good thing we have crushes on each other, right?"
"Yeah, but not really. You're my soulmate." * * * He chuckled, his hand on her jaw. "You're flushing."
She rolled her eyes before standing up and giving him a quick kiss. "Let's just move on." * * * He beamed, turning her head gently to look back at him. "I lo-like you too."
She took his hand and sighed. "Where to next?" * * * He grinned before lightly kissing her jaw. "I can't."
"Next section of our adventure!" *** She smiled slightly, tucking back a lock of her hair. "Why not?"
She laughed despite herself. "So... couches?" * * * "Because," he said simply, moving to kiss her neck. "Your blushes are sweet."
He nodded. "Right." *** She tilted her head to give him access, her hand moving to gently hold his arm. "Nuh uh.."
