"I haven't owned a dog in a while. Anything else we may need?"
"Hmm.. That's all I can think of."
"Dog training videos? Dog parenting books?"
"Well, we'll see if we need that."
"A private dog tutor?"
"Eh..."
"Only the best for our dog,"
" And he would have the best! Let's just see how he is first."
"He's wonderful. Look how easily he got into the backseat."
She grinned. "Perfect. Do you have the keys?"
“Right here,” he said, tossing them to her. “You said you’re driving?”
She caught them. "Yes. You deal with the beast."
“He can hear you.”
She got in the driver's seat. "He knows I'm kidding."
“Do you think he’s got that good of a sense of humor?”
"Obviously. I mean, just look at him!"
“He did get us to give him all of the peanuts before leaving the pound...”
"Exactly!" she teased. "He's a trickster."
“We’re going to have to watch out for him.”
She grinned, turning on the car. "I suppose so."
