"That's not fair."
"How is it not fair? You're proposing favoritism and I'm proposing dibs."
"He knew longer than me."
“I didn’t tell him. It just happened.”
"Does he even know?"
"Of course he does. He's a visionary."
She rolled her eyes. "Fine."
He smirked and leaned over to kiss her cheek. "Don't be too sad, Cal. I still love you most."
She flushed lighting, folding her hands. "That's all that matters to me."
"That's all that matters? That's intense."
"It's the main thing."
"The main thing. Cal, you've only known me for a couple months."
"So?"
"My affection shouldn't be the most important thing in your life."
"It's pretty important, second to survival and my job."
