He leaned against her dramatically. "It's fine. Everything's fine." * * * She sighed affectionately before closing the door behind them.
She laughed. "Really? Your parents must be fun." *** Landon stepped out the bathroom, a towel around his waist.
"Very... you know. Different." * * * She slipped on a pair of jeans and ran her fingers through her wet hair before smiling to herself softly.
He sighed, cleaning his glasses. "I don't really know how to... you'd just have to meet them." * * * "Pretty soon," she said, giving him an apologetic smile.
"All your sisters?" * * * She gave him a quick kiss before slipping on her jacket. "I love you, Landon."
"Maybe we'll have a family get together!" *** He smiled warmly, before looking around and grabbing a black scarf. "Here! Take this.. It's cold out."
She laughed. "Maybe." *** "I'm not," he said quietly, frowning slightly. "I just don't want you to be cold."
He gasped, his eyes bright. "With Nugget?" * * * She gave him a wry smile, wrapping her arms around his ribs. "Okay. I believe you."
