"You can carry me all you want, but I will never stay still long enough to sleep!"
He dropped her gently on the bed, sitting next to her and wrapping his arms and legs around her.
She tried to wiggle free, a frown crossing her face.
He didn't let go, his arms strong.
"Landooooon. I'm never going to be able to sleep like this."
"Why not?"
"Because you're squeezing me like a vice, sweet boy."
"Because you'll try to escape."
"Me? Never."
"Yes, you will."
She tried again to wiggle free. “Landon, come on.”
"Vaaaaaaaaaaaal."
“Landoooon. You’re really tight.”
He shook his head. "You're sleeping."
"I can't sleep if you're squeezing the life out of me."
He loosened. "You're gonna run.."
"Me? No," she cooed. "Landon, loosen up a little."
He let go slightly, seeming resigned.
She hesitated before trying to slip out of his arms.
He let her go, pulling his arms back. "See?"
