Her apartment was stacked with various papers. The walls were painted a warm grey, but it could barely be seen from all the newspaper articles pinned to the walls. It was cozy, if not a little cluttered, and she tossed the cat onto the sofa affectionately before stretching. "Let's find my laptop."
"Right," she said. "I think it's..." She frowned and tugged a stray piece of hair. "Under here somewhere."
She disappeared into the pile of books before exclaiming. "Aha! Here we go." She pulled out a silver laptop, her hair slightly disheveled. Slumping onto the couch, she lightly pet the cat's dark fur as she turned on the computer.
