"Now who's the pessimist?" she asked, cocking her head. "I would never lie."
He rolled his eyes. "Then say "I'm an optimist," out loud."
"I'm an optimist," she replied flatly.
"Nuh uh," he said, "you have to say with more enthusiasm!"
She sighed before a wide grin crossed her face, transforming her entire aura. "I'm an optimist!"
He laughed brightly. "Fantastic!"
She frowned, replacing the smile quickly. "That was awful."
"You asked for it," he teased, his grin wide.
"I did not. You forced me."
"I did not force you," he told her. "You can't force someone to speak."
"Sure you can."
"I can't force you to use your vocal cords," he said, tilting his head.
"You could torture me."
"Do I really look like the torturing type?'
"No," she said. "But you could be a trick."
He cocked his head. "I am not."
"Appearances can be deceiving."
"Sometimes they aren't."
She squinted at him before turning the laptop towards him. "Let's just look at the tapes."
He nodded. " You find them?"
