Sam had packed and given the cats to the neighbor. He grabbed his bag setting them by the door. "I'm all ready. We should probably get some snacks." *** She nodded. "Definitely."
"At the store?" Val asked, straightening up as she pulled her bag over her shoulder. *** "Well, where would we go for our first date?"
He nodded. "That works." *** She grinned, tapping her chin. "I'm not sure.. Where do you like to go?"
She started for the door before pausing and turning around, kissing him suddenly. *** "Alright, alright... what would we do there?"
He seemed surprised, kissing her back before pulling away. "What was that all about?" *** "Hm.. Stargaze?"
"You are the most important thing in my life," she said bluntly, her eyes flickering up to meet his. "I know that when you said that to me, I got mad, but I want you to know that it's reciprocated." * * * "On the moon?"
