She squinted at him. "People are dying."
He crossed his arms. " That's the government."
"Still. These timers are killing people."
He sighed. "True."
"And we're going to figure it out," she said sternly. "We just need Poppy to wake up."
He nodded in agreement. "Right."
She frowned and then began to bustle around, putting away the sandwich making materials.
"Do you think we can do it?" he asked suddenly.
She looked up at him. "What makes you ask that?"
"I don't know," he replied. "It just seems.. unlikely."
"I think we've already found out a lot," she said. "How it all ties together is the mystery for me."
"Exactly," he said. "Do you think we can do it?"
She was quiet for a moment. "I hope so."
He sighed. "Me too.'
She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "I don't really know what to do in the meantime."
He frowned. " I'm out of ideas as well."
"I guess we're just going to have to wait it out."
He sighed. "Yeah. Until we find new evidence."
She pinched the bridge of her nose. "Fine. I guess I'll just let you know if I figure anything out?"
He nodded. "That works. Thanks."
