For those who don't know, EA (ugh....) is making a new battlefield game. Battlefield 1. And why is it called 1? Because it takes place in World War 1! There several games that also take place on this era, but most of them are not that known or popular as the battlefront series. Here is the official trailer of the game: Although EA's past games (Battlefront 4 and SW Battlefront) were not that succesful (the first one had a very short campaign and lacked customisable classes, the second one having almost no single player content or campaign at all) I am rather hyped for this one, even more with what the rival, Call of Duty, will release. Call of Duty infinite Warfare. And what is it? It is technically Call of Duty Star Wars... They really ran out of ideas there, and most of the hype for that game goes for the special edition that has CoD4 Modern Warfare remastered. So yeah... I hope EA doesn't screw it like with SW Battlefront and kill all the hype the day it comes out, as I am looking forward for it.
WW1 is kinda odd as it's the war considered of have been the bigger disaster, some how. WW2 often gets the "Stop the Nazis" narative while WW1 is a few years of non-stop bloodshed. Is this one going to try for a more sombre mood, constantly going War is hell! every few minutes? This is providing it has a story mode, of course.
