This game has recieved a sudden uproar of, what else, criticism because its now a Wii U exclusive. Bayonetta(1) was multiplatform and brought around a handful of fans. Later news or rumor said that the game's sequel had been cancelled. Sad news for fans. Now that its been proven unture. Alot of people, most notable console fanboys, have criticized it for being only Wii U. Heck some fans of the original game have even commented that it would have been better if the game was forever cancelled. Thats just silly. Nintendo saved the game by becoming its publisher. The exclusivity really did troll other console owners but what can you do. "deal with it" comes to mind. In general, be happy that the game gets a sequel. This can help it become a new franchise and maybe one day go multiplatform. RE4 started as a gamecube exclusive. Look at it today.
I suppose that would be the reason for the annoyance, that fans of the first game would have most likely had an Xbox or a PS3 and now if they want to play the next game they'd have to purchase a Wii-U which quite frankly does not look that appealing at all. They could wait until someone decides to publish it on the Xbox or PS3 but that would require it to do well on the Wii-U which I do not think will happen.
Can't do much about it, Nintendo were the ones who saved Bayonetta so of course it's going to be exclusive. Maybe it won't be forever, who knows?
Weird, I was JUST watching a countdown on top ten Femme Fetales and Bayonetta was number 1 on the list o.o
Im pretty surprised there's a sequel at all, it was mostly a devil may cry copy with partial nudity every 2 seconds in terms of game play, and a sorta cliche anime style in terms of story telling, not to mention that there was even a function in the first one that was made so you could play it with one hand while using the other one for (cheerilee censorship)
