I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH!!!! The nostalgia I'm pulling from HL1 in this thing is just incredible! I can't believe how well they made this thing! I'm just sad that nobody's receiving any money for it, I would have totally paid money for this! I'm stuck at the part right after you blow up that giant tentacle thing in the blast chamber, I hated how much damage he did :x Finally, my only issue with the game is that the character models have unusually large noses, but then again, I love it anyways! It adds a feel of it's own uniqueness to it while still giving me the nostalgia from HL1. If you haven't already, get this mod. It's amazing.
Finally got it to install. Love.It. I don't care if my pc is prehistoric and can barely play it, I still love it.
My boyfriend and I both sat on each our side of the country and watched the countdown. I am loving this thing.
Hah, I bought Half Life 2 just to play this mod, having never played a Half Life game before. I'm glad to say that I had a lot of fun with it, although I found the soldiers to be incredibly annoying at some points, but challenge is the name of the game right? I actually had more fun playing Black Mesa than I'm having with HL2, go figure. The detail put into the levels still amazes me. I look forward to playing Xen, whenever that comes out.
Has anyone else gotten to the room with all the trip mines yet? (Way into the game) Sloppy jumping controls are making it REALLY frustrating. Yes, I know you have to crouch jump a lot, but that room is ridiculous.
I'm at the part with the HECU marines above the vents in Surface Tension. (Way into the game) They are a pain. But still, this game is amazing. It's so nice to play Half Life again in it's new HD glory. 8)
