"I'll try, we have 2 Ultra Class Man O' Wars and boarding parties pounding away at us! I had to vent the Hanger of Oxygen to prevent them from coming in! 68% of the crew has launched in escape pods, 12% died, and the remainaining 20% are still onboard! I'm in the hallway with the escape pods right now, send me your coordinates!" Crag yelled into his radio.
" my cords are 23.435.111. get here quick. I see an entire battalion in the horizon with 3 mechs and a mobile base". Steel replied before pressing down the base wide communications. "To all survivors, this is acting commander steel blaze. It is time to join in my crusade and be strong and fight with me. its time to cross the barricade and to fight for the world we wish to see. To arms as its only one day more".
Crag got into the escape pod, with 5 other marines, and punched in the coordinates. The escape pod activated it's artificial gravity, and filtered the unbreathable content in the air and left only the breathable content before launching. He soon entered the atmosphere, as the comms station blew up. He landed not too far from the site where Steel was. He got out along with the other marines, and picked up a Electro-Staff from one of the dead bodies.
Crag reached a pony whom he thought was Steel. "You Steel Blaze?" He asked, shooting a Glorian that was trying to climb the barrier into the base camp.
(I'll join Steel and Craq.) Mila sprinted to her bunker. There, she equipped some light armor, and a rifle, along with two daggers, and a rope. She hooked it all onto her belt, set out towards the camp.
Janius was shocked when he received orders to declare war and attack the Equestrians. He knew he was just hours away from a deal, but orders are orders, and he reluctantly ordered the troops to attack. The Rose ICBM's where readied and fired by the dozen. FB-40's were already filling the skies as they scrambled towards the front. He could he the rumble of tanks and extreme-range artillery. The might of Glory's military was very much obvious, and in this case, and obvious how to scare the Equestrians into submission. The whole building shook as a group of Vertibirds flew past at low altitude, and all Janius could do was think about how a Great Offensive would look, as they make even this seem liked a pea.
"Now if you're going to betray us. Boom! You go up in a mass of blazing flames. Sort of like fireworks, only with a lot less sparkly stuff and a lot more blood and guts." Vegare told the Equestrian as he attached the collar to him. "And just in time for the fun to start too..."
Aran had taken a quick little stroll to a closeby vehicle, stolen it, then rocketeered the first way out of the city towards the center of the nations, the isthmus that was connecting it all. Although... it didn't go quite as expected. He got stopped at a small outpost, then nearly killed when the soldiers discovered that the car was stocked with explosives. But after some questions and some answers, they agreed to lead him to a base since he didn't seem like he was gonna leave the outpost back the way he had come from. After some walking, and watching around, they finally reached the base. Well, the problem was getting inside without getting shot in the massive infernal war that was happening just then. Just as some of the soldiers got distracted by a group of Equestrian soldiers, Aran took the advantage to disarm one of them, then bolt inside the nearest entrance he could find. He bolted deeper and deeper down into the base until all he could hear was the soft sounds of battle outside. He took a look at the rifle he had snatched, then dropped it and leant against the closest stone wall. "Holy shiezenwauffer... That... was awesome." He sighed in relief of not having gotten killed yet, but he knew that he had to explore this base. (If we can just bring everyone together... yes, that would be most fun.)
"you would be correct I am Steel blaze. We've got a whole battalion marching on us with mechs and tanks. Though we have built 4 tesla flak's and equipped every pony with explosive rounds. So we won't go down that easily". He guided the ponies to the command centre which currently was working off a back up generator.
Mila thought for a moment. If she could get to the other side..... She ran to the commander. "I need to get to their base. I can sneak across, acting as a diplomat if needed." she said, helplessly.
(Sorry, I was a busy pony this morning) Hibiscus's mouth fell open as he stared at the form in front of him. He rubbed his eyes and stared at the bottle. "Wow... this is some powerful stuff..." he thought aloud. Looking back towards Brisk, he chuckled nervously. "Uhh... hehe, you can stop that now. No, seriously." He began to back away from her. He backed into the door frame and walked around it.
"Do you have a safe house? Do not be afraid.... We are soon to be under attack." the figure repeated more insistantly.
"I, uhh," Hibiscus broke out in a cold sweat. "Well, no. There are no safe houses here, it's just a little farm is all. Wha- what'll I do?"
The figure seemed to pause, thinking. "Come, stallion. We must go to the Equestrian base. Quickly, now." she said finally. With a boost of magic, she hurried Hibiscus out into the sun, heading swiftly west.
Shadow was thinking about the past. Back when he and Strafer was kids about all the fun they had."Why....Why did you leave Stfafer?" Shadows thoughts were broken by a voic. The commander ordered him to return to help watch for glorians.
(Back on Terra) Julii Juliianos sat thinking in his office at the top of his palace, a building placed at the top of the tallest hill in Gloria Renovatus that was made to tower over even the tallest buildings in the city of 100 million. He was thinking about how he would be able to wage two wars at once, the raging Fifth Civil War was tearing the colonies apart, even Biioc was in danger. He knew he needed to win Ciilonii if he was to help Terra being any major force in the Orion Arm Council, even if Terra had been able to fend off one of the most powerful of the civilizations in their arm, the Xenons, but they had barely survived that invasion. As he looked up to see the small prick of light coming from the explosion of a space vessel, he made up his mind. His fingers danced across his Pip-Sali that would send an order out to the Ciilonii troops, secure the orbit, hold the isthmus, but no more offensive, retreat to the Line of Control, dig in, and excess troops come help crush the rebels in the Home System.
