She watched him before sighing, turning away from him and starting to walk away. * * * "Well, you could," he admitted, kissing a quick line along her jaw. "Don't tell anyone."
She frowned, looking at him over her shoulder. "Are you sure?" * * * "Thank you," he said smoothly. "What are you making?"
He gave her a smile. "Yeah, I'm sure." *** She looked back. "Chopping up vegetables for the stew. I'm all done, though."
She hesitated before coming over to him tentatively, tilting her head as she considered him. * * * He kissed her hair, looking down at it. "It smells nice in here."
He pursed his lips before stepping aside. It was a rather plain room, lacking many decorations on the wall. On the desk, however, was many herbs and feathers and other things he had collected. *** She grinned. "I'm glad you think so. Do you feel better?"
She looked around thoughtfully before looking over at him. "I like your room," she said quietly. * * * "I do. I always feel better when I'm with you."
"Yeah, I know," she said slowly before looking over at him, walking over to him hesitantly. "I do think I love you." * * * He grinned, kissing her back. "I love you too."
She studied him, her hazel eyes tracing his features before she kissed him, her hand coming up to cup his jaw. * * * He tilted his head curiously. "Because I think you're cute?"
Her arms slipped over his shoulders and she deepened the kiss, her fingers gently running through his hair. * * * "Oof. I walked right into that one."
She held his face in her hands, her lips brushing his softly. "I love you too," she replied breathlessly. * * * "That's okay. I think I'll recover."
She rested her forehead against his, kissing him again gently. * * * He kissed her again before straightening up, going over to the stove.
She leaned into his touch, watching him thoughtfully. "I've never felt like this about anyone," she said quietly, cupping his jaw. "You're wonderful, you know." * * * He stirred the stew, opening an arm to her.
