She followed him, looking around. "Yeah, I think it could be fun." *** He took her hands, squeezing them gently. "I'll get used to living here. It's different." *** She turned to look at him with raised eyebrows. "I'd only want to live a million years if you were there too." *** "But you don't?"
“You and I could do it,” he said brightly. *** She patted the seat next to her, looking up at him. “I think you might really like it.” *** “Oh, you’ll get bored of me soon,” he said with a small grin. *** “No,” she replied smoothly. “I’m cooler than that.”
She smiled at him. "It'll be fun." *** He sat down, putting an arm around her. "I trust you." *** She looked around his house curiously. "I could never!" *** "Uh huh. I thought so too. Too cool to walk."
“What kind of furniture do you want?” *** She looked over at him and kissed him gently. *** “You think that, but you’d be wrong.” *** “Way too cool to walk.”
"Uh.. I don't know. I haven't given it much thought." *** He kissed her back. "I love you." *** "No I wouldn't. I like spending time with you." *** "So you come up here instead."
“Like... a couch? A table?” *** Her hand rested on his jaw and she scooted closer to him, her leg brushing his. “I love you too, J.” *** “That’ll change,” he said sagely. “Don’t you fret.” *** “Right. Where all the cool kids are.”
"Uh.. Anything that will make you want to come over more often." *** He observed her thoughtfully, brushing her hair back before kissing her again. *** "No it wont," she said matter-of-factly. "I'll always love you!" *** He grinned. "Does this mean I'm cool now?"
"All I need is you," he replied playfully, draping an arm over her shoulder. * * * She flushed, slipping into his lap and kissing him back. * * * "I don't believe that for a second." * * * "You were always cool, Di," she said, moving ahead of him. "It's why I love you."
She grinned, kissing his cheak. "So cute." *** He looked up at her, his head tilted slightly. *** "I'm serious, Emerson!" *** He grinned. "Well, I love you too."
"That was a good one, huh?" * * * She rested her forehead against his before kissing him lightly. "You're wonderful." * * * "I know," he said gently, brushing her hair back. "I adore you." * * * "Don't tell anyone or I'll kill you."
She nodded. "It was fantastic." *** He flushed slightly. "So are you." *** She grinned up at him brightly. *** "I wouldn't dare."
"Yep. It gets them everytime." * * * Her hands cupped the back of his neck and she gave him her grin before kissing him again. * * * "Why are you smiling like that?" * * * She nodded, dropping down to the ground. "I expect no less."
She rolled her eyes, looking around. *** He kissed her back, pulling her close. *** "Because you're here." *** He followed her with a nod. "Good."
The building had been utilized pretty frequently, but there was still some old furniture lying around. He led her to the couches. "Here. Pick one you like." * * * She tilted her head to kiss a line along his jaw, her fingers curling in his shirt gently. * * * "I am, yes." * * * "I want to show you something," she said quietly. "Come this way."
She frowned slightly, looking unsure before pointing at one. "That one..?" *** His flush deepened and he cleared his throat. "I love you.." *** "And I'm glad you're here." She pulled away. "But I have to go finish cleaning." *** He nodded curiously. "Alright."
He took her hand, approaching it. "This one? This is the one you want?" * * * She pulled away for a moment, looking at him. "I love you too." * * * "Oh..." he said slowly, looking disappointed. "Okay, then." * * * She led him through some foliage. He would eventually hear the sound of rushing water. When they broke through, he would see a crystal waterfall cascading over a cliff far above them, silvery fog giving the entire area a hazy glow.
She nodded. "That one is good. What do you think?" *** He pursed his lips before kissing her cheek. *** She paused, looking at him with a suspiciously blank expression. "Oh? Do you have a problem with.. waiting?" *** His eyes brightened and he looked around excitedly. "This is so cool!"
"I think it's perfect. Let's go find a packaged one." * * * She gave him a small grin before resuming her kissing of his jaw and neck, the movement soft and feathery. * * * Equally smooth, he replied. "No. As a matter of fact, I was going to end your wait, but I see you're very busy and obviously the pinnacle of patience. Please, resume your activities." * * * "It is, right?" she asked, coming over to him.
She nodded, a smile crossing her face. "Do you think we should add anything else?" *** He seemed uncertain as to what he should do, his hands on waist as he tilted his head. *** She squinted at him. "I don't believe you anyways." *** "Yeah.. How often do you come here?"
"A table?" he suggested. * * * She pulled away slightly, a frown on her face. "Are you okay? Is this not good?" * * * "Hm. I suppose you'll never know," he said, turning and heading for the door. * * * "Before the attack, almost every day," she said quietly. "I was searching for something like it in the city, but... nothing really compares."
