He looked down at her. "What do you mean?" *** He grinned. "Good." *** She frowned. "I'm sorry." *** She took it. "I love you."
"I want to hear from you," she said, looking up at him. "Everything. Even if you think it's boring." * * * They approached the plane and Lucy moved forward, clearly excited. "I wonder if I could get her working again..." * * * "Don't be," he said, waving off her apology. "I don't generally sleep well anyway." * * * He looked down at her with a small grin. "I love you too."
He frowned, looking down at her. He looked rather thoughtful, considering everything she told him. "What would you like to know?" *** He laughed. "That would be cool." *** She tilted her head at him. "I'm sorry." *** She kissed his cheek. "Shall we?"
She considered this, leaning down and kissing his collarbone gently. "Tell me about your childhood." * * * She beamed at him excitedly. "We could fly." * * * "What did I literally just say?" he asked playfully. * * * "Lead the way."
He shrugged slightly. "I had friends.." *** "Think of places we could go." *** She pretended to think, tapping her chin. "That you don't sleep well." *** She nodded, heading out.
"Hm. Somehow, I doubt that," she teased playfully, looking up at him. * * * Her eyes widened. "We could cross the ocean." * * * "I'm not playing this game." * * * (Zoop?)
He didn't say anything for a moment. "Maybe not." *** "That would be terrifying." *** She grinned. "What game?" *** (Yoop!) Blaise knocked on the door curiously, her head tilted. After a moment the stranger opened the door. At that moment, both of their expressions changed. Both were surprised. Blaise looked startled and maybe a bit betrayed. The stranger looked nervous, stepping back slightly. She didn't give him a change to speak before punching him in the face and closing the door, holding the knob tightly.
She frowned, looking up at him curiously. "Oh... I was joking." * * * "You don't have to come." * * * "You're pranking me." * * * Ellis moved back in surprise, his hand on her shoulder. "Whoa, what the hell just happened?"
He shrugged slightly. "Fair enough." *** "I would want to go with you, though." *** She sat back. "I would never." *** "That's the *squee!*er that almost killed me." She looked up at him. "Years ago. I never thought I would see his stupid face again."
She was quiet for a second before kissing under his jaw. "I wish I had been around. I would have been your friend." * * * "I'd want you to come with." * * * "Yes, you totally would." * * * He looked baffled. "Killed you?"
"I tried to have friends," he said. "But they didn't like me much." *** He smiled at her. "I love you." *** "Says who?" *** "Tried," she said. "Ellis, I'm going to kill him. I really am going to do it."
She frowned, brushing his jaw gently. "Why not?" * * * She looked over her shoulder at him, grinning brightly, a bit of plane grease on her nose. "I love you too!" * * * "Me. The knower of you." * * * "Whoa, calm down," he said gently, brushing her hair back soothingly. "Maybe this is a misunderstanding. He'd have to be pretty cocky to visit your clan so casually. How did he try to kill you?"
He laughed slightly. "Long story..." *** He reached over, wiping it off her nose. *** "You don't know me at all. Who are you?" *** "He shoved me into a room of plague spores and locked the door!"
"Were you a bully?" she chided playfully, propping her head up with her arm. * * * She looked up at him, standing on her tiptoes to give him a gentle peck. * * * "The boy who's leaving his clan behind to stay with you. Don't be a butt." * * * Ellis hesitated for a moment. "Yeah, okay, that's pretty hard to misinterpret. What do we do?"
"Er... No. No I wasn't." *** He grinned. "Tell me if you find anything cool." *** She stuck her tongue out at him. *** "He needs to go," she said immediately. "He is not here for good reasons."
She reached over with her free hand, brushing his hair back. "Were you bullied?" * * * "I've already found a plane, J!" * * * "None of that. I don't deserve it." * * * "Okay. Well, I'm in charge while Emerson is gone. I can tell him to get out."
He frowned. "A little." *** "But on the plane!" *** "Mm.. True. I love you." *** She smiled slightly. "Would you?"
She frowned, watching him thoughtfully. "Want me to beat them up?" * * * "I'm way too distracted for stuff like that." * * * "I love you," he replied pointedly. "Are you hungry?" * * * "If he tried to kill you? Of course."
"Nah, they're long gone." *** "Alright, then. Go back to your plane stuff." *** She wrapped her arms around him. "A little bit.." *** She nodded, stepping away from the door.
"Okay," she said with a small grin. "But, you know... I would." * * * She nodded, kneeling down and continuing to inspect the plane. * * * "I can make breakfast. Come on." * * * He opened the door and closed it behind him, looking down at the stranger.
