She rolled her eyes almost playfully before stretching out and resting her head on her arm, closing her eyes.
It seemed like she fell asleep instantly, her brow was relaxed and her face was buried in the crook of her arm.
Jaz looked out the window, he seemed nervous but determined at the same time. His gaze turned to Lucy as he tilted his head. "I think so.." Blaise seemed excited, her eyes bright with curiosity. "Yup!" Dion sat up front his brows furrowed slightly as he looked over at her. "And you know how to work this, right?"
Lucy was looking out the window on her side. Her braids had gold bands around the ends and they were tied back in a large bun today to keep out of her face. Her hands were in her lap, but if Jaz watched, he would see them twitching anxiously. She looked over at him and caught his gaze, seeming surprised that he was looking at her. As he watched, though, she gave him an uncertain, but sweet smile. Ellis was cracking his fingers casually, leaning back in his seat. After a moment of looking out the window, he offered his hands to Blaise to play a common sort of clapping game. Aisling raised an eyebrow, turning on the car with a practiced flick of the wrist. "Of course I do."
He offered a small, nervous smile back before looking out the window, his expression returning to an anxious state. She looked at his hands curiously before playing along. He laughed slightly, looking ahead. "Just making sure."
"Are you okay?" she asked quietly, leaning over so as to not be overheard. "Aisling's really safe, I promise." He smacked her hands pretty quickly raising one eyebrow cockily. "You don't need to make sure," she replied, revving the engine before shooting off.
He glanced over. "I'm a little nervous," he admitted quietly. She grinned, her reflexes a bit slow at first as she tried to pull away. He said nothing, looking out the window in interest.
“Do you want to play something? A game, maybe?” “You’re not very good at this, Blaisey,” Ellis teased. Aisling pressed her foot on the accelerator, zooming through the streets.
