He tilted his head. "Can I come?" *** Blaise was poking sea anemones with a frown. Jaz pursed his lips curiously. "I'm not sure."
She raised an eyebrow almost playfully. "Of course you can. You're my companion." * * * Lucy frowned before coming over to her curiously. "Hey Blaise, you okay?"
He grinned, coming along to join her. *** Jaz followed Lucy closely. Blaise looked up, her expression uncertain before offering a small smile. "I'm alright. Why do you ask?"
She rolled her eyes, heading towards the cliffs. "Don't go getting a big head, now." * * * She gave her a sweet smile, tilting her head. "Well, uh... you're just... you're poking that sea anemone pretty hard there."
He removed his hat, putting it on her head playfully. "It's too late." *** She looked down at the sea creature, going quiet for a moment before looking back up. "Yeah, I'm alright."
She looked over at him, raising one eyebrow. "Oh dear. It's gotten so big that you can't even wear your hat anymore." * * * She considered her. "Are you sure? Where's Ellis?"
He grinned. "So I put it on you." *** She looked back in the direction of the sandcastle. "Eh.. That way."
She gave him a small smile, rolling her eyes. "It looks better on me," she replied playfully. * * * "Is he okay?"
She gave him one of her genuine smiles, approaching the cliffside before beginning to climb. * * * Lucy looked over at Jaz uncertainly before nodding. "Okay. If you say so."
He seemed hesitant to climb at first, but followed. *** She nodded slightly, turning back to the sea anemones.
She looked over at him, raising one eyebrow. "Am I going to have to save your life again?" * * * Lucy looked over at Jaz in concern.
He gave her a nervous grin. "Let's hope not." *** He seemed uncertain, looking as if he didn't want to intervene with Blaise.
She smirked slightly, considering him. "That'd be pretty embarrassing for you." * * * She pursed her lips before heading back to the tidepools.
"It really would. You said you wouldn't save me again." *** He followed, his brows furrowed. "I didn't know what to say."
"Oh, I would," she said dismissively, continuing to climb. "I'd miss you too much if you died. It's a selfish saving, but there we go." * * * "I could tell," she said, returning to the tidepool, sounding as if she might have been a little disappointed in him.
"It'd be to handle my shame. I couldn't take it." *** He observed her, his brows furrowed as he frowned. "I'm.. I'm sorry."
"Oh, hush," she teased, pulling herself up to a ledge and sitting on it. * * * She looked over at him thoughtfully, standing up and shrugging, giving him a small smile. "You don't need to apologize to me. I'm just worried about your friend."
