Ellis woke sleepily one morning, his eyes flying open blearily as he muttered to himself. He scratched his side before yawning, standing up by the side of the bed and running a hand through his hair before his gaze softened. That's right, he thought to himself. I'm going to see her today. He got dressed and left the room, going to look for her.
Blaise was in her room, her head on her hand as she slept at her desk, pencil still in the other. She had gotten up this morning, but after a few minutes of marking down a map, her consciousness didn't last long.
He checked the time with a frown after looking for her for a little while. He purses his lips uncertainly before beginning to head to her room.
Just as he got to her door, it swung open and she stood with wide eyes, nearly running into him. "Ellis! I accidentally fell asleep again!"
He laughed easily, his hands on her shoulders. “I figured,” he said, giving her a quick kiss. “Go get ready.”
He tilted his head curiously. “Blaisey, Aisling’s my best friend. I can’t let her know more than me.”
