It's a one way road it is.
    Sure tons of people join.
You know what else tons of people join?
    Furry communities.

They were pretty comparable to bronies say...
    1-2 years after it started.
    Most are.

    Yes.
You can find them on cereal too.
It helps you know what you're buying.
    Because you want cereal.
    Not rat poison.

Yea, it's sad.... Of course i'd like to think it's advancing slower than the real title "Furry" did. But hey, it's in vain...

    Hehehe, Clever. XD

You know, now you say it.... The Famous bronies are getting a little big headed.... Mostly MiketheMicrophoneZero. I love Tombstone though, he's pretty humble.

    Indeed.

Maybe pixel will understand the seemingly awkward wording.

sorry, I can't say I do. Then again I'm simple minded.

EQD is crap, it just shove the same artist to the top everyday. I love when one of the popular artist get 5 EQD posts in a row. The top bronies only seem to do things with other top bronies.

Only a few of the brony musicians seem to be letting fame get the better of them. For the most part, I'd say the majority are still really approachable and humble.

As for bronies being similar to furries, I think it all really depends on how you view your involvement. There's the generic definition for furry, which is that it applies to anthropomorphized creatures. This can be applied to so many shows out there right now, including MLP: FiM. That doesn't necessarily mean that everyone who likes the show is a furry. As with bronies, it's more of a fandom that one can choose to participate in if they so choose. Just my take.

What else do furries do other than dressing up in animal outfits that have fur on them I don't know much if anything about them?

Same thing bronies do or almost any fandom for that matter. People just seem to focus on the fursuit thing and call it weird. Honestly I can't see why people care SO much about that. It isn't hurting you, so why bother.

    Pretty much this.

    I mean,
If they were dressed up in actual animal skins with fur,
That'd be more to go by.

People dress up in fur suits on Halloween too.
And no one hate blogs Halloween.
    Except for religious reasons.

I would like to bring up a big point I brought up at my old forums. Furries don't have each others backs like we do. They think more about themselves than bronies do. They are usually almost exclusively self-centered. I've heard this from people who were once furries themselves.

I feel strongly that these are just your typical bronies that are enjoying themselves at bronycon.

Furries will identify strongly with the animal that they are taking on. It's really rather odd if you ask me. There's really no physical way that you can "be a wolf on the inside and were born into the wrong body".

The bronies are a fandom. Furries are just one of those weird obsessions.

    Not necessarily.

There is a respective furry fandom.

Not sure if Applejack or Big Mac. XD

Honestly i don't see what the big deal even is. So what if bronies and furries are similar in some ways? It doesn't bother me.

    See.
    It's not all bad.

Except that's not good enough for me.
    Thus I'm not either.
    Just follow the fandom, no?

furries arent really a weird obsession, more like a dream. most furries wish they could be some animal, or wish that they weren't so civil. other furries are in it because they like the artwork that comes from it, others are in it for the 34. Like i said in another post, furries don't have anything specific to back up their like. bronies have MLP. what makes a brony different from a furry is that we have the show My little pony. what do furries have? nothing. Lion king has it's own following, it is a branch that is seperate from furries. scalies are threaded with furries, they having a backing which is a like for scaled creatures, but they don't have a specific following. Ponies, the furry title for Pony lovers, Don't have a specific backing, just their love for equestrian animals.

as an example, furries can be syfy fans, they just like syfy, there really isn't any specific backing or title. There are those who love space action such as doctor who or stargate, they like those types of shows, though they arent specific to a show, they are specific to a brand within the genre. then there are doctor who fans, they can be separated from syfy fans because it doesn't have to be just syfy to like it. it can be the stories or the characters or the actors.

i would have a visual representation ready, but i don't have the time to make one. so here is my best basic answer.
Bronies are linked to furries only because of anthropomorphic characters, furry ponies like equestrian animals, furries are basic broadness, they have no specific backing.

    Obviously.

But the people you see at bronycon are usually just your average fans.

    Furry is a fandom

That picture is of fursuits. Totally furry.

Also wanting to be the animal, sure furries do it, more power to them. Second wolves are lame, deer is where it's at yo.

    Still furry.

Average? Does average include selling pr0n? Cause that happened at BronyCon.
