I've been trying to get a rough estimate of just how many Bronies there are in the world. Naturally it is very hard to come up with any real numbers since a huge percentage don't reveal themselves. The closest thing I've been able to find to a real answer is "5-10% of the world population" Putting that percentage to work means that at even just 5% that is roughly 335 million Bronies. I think that number is a bit on the high side though. I'm also thinking that is probably all MLP fans and not just the bronies. Anyway, making it happen is what is going on. 2012 the year of friendship? I can see it.

Go friendship! It's what makes the world turn. without it, life wouldn't have any meaning. we would just be mindless drones working to make a useless dollar. Thankfully that is not the world and we have friends to hang out and have fun with.
I've been saying the MLP:FiM fan community is one of the best mistakes to have ever happened. All things considered about it's lifespan, all I can say is "Hay yeah we're going to make this the year of friendship!". We might end up being short lived, but we're going to burn bright enough to leave love and tolerance in everyone's eyes for years to come.
I certainly hope this fan community lasts awhile. I'm still a fairly new Brony, and I would like to be part of the Herd for as long as possible. But yeah that video made me proud to be a Brony, and it also made me determined to make 2012 a better year than last. For both me and many people in my life, 2011 was a pretty bad year.... although it ended fairly well with my discovery of MLP:FiM. So I'm going to do everything I can to spread love and tolerance.... and convert some of my friends into Bronies/Pegasisters
