I don't want brony fan, I watch the show because I enjoy it, I draw ponies because I enjoy it. I follow musicians because I like their music. Bronies don't need world famous to help people. Just wondering, has anyone heard of the AVA movement? -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
what are you high? we already famous, but as a freak show and that just... Sparkypony -postmodernism is my hoenie no disrespect. I mean the brony thing is based off the ideas of postmodernism.
Really? We're famous. Show me, bronies aren't freaks. If that's the case then the world is made up of all freaks. I mean just look at me. A straight edge punk fan that loves hearts and rainbows. I sounds like a freak. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
why the heck do you think Discord himself wants to create/be part of a brony documentary to act as the counter offensive against this attitude towards bronies? If that's not proof of what the general public think of bronies, then pix I dunno what will drive the point.
What documentary? Why are we talking about discord. I thought this was about real people. If bronies get looked at as freaks then so be it. Straight egde is looked at as a gang in Arizona. It's not,but that's the label it got. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
news good sir. WATCH IT. http://www.equestriadaily.com/2012/05/john-de-lancie-working-on-potential.html seriously pix. you come off as the kinda brony that lives in a hole. you clearly miss out on alot of stuff. now I just plain understand why you don't know a media fandom giant like touhou. because you just don't look. heres a saying for you pix. absence of evidence does not mean the evidence of absence. It exists even if you don't see it.
hmm....intresting, I'm surprised he'd step up to that. That's pretty cool. I don't live in a hole, it's a rock thank you. I never go on EQD, like ever. I don't know touhou because it doesn't interest me. I'd like to go in to detail about how that is wrong, but I'm not starting a reiligous flame war. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
Hey, hey, calm down guys. Don't start flinging insults around. I think that my opinion can be summed up in one phrase. "Hatred originating from disreputable gentlecolts will continue to persist." Eeyup. Some bronies are just an embarrasment to the rest of them, just like in any other group of people. I know most of the bronies in my area were annoying, weird outcasts BEFORE they became bronies, and now they proudly proclaim to be bronies, making everyone hate both them and ponies even more than they did before.
The quote "Love can't exist without hate" seems to get more true to me with each day. The more we love something, the more we hate something else. It doesn't seem like there's anyway to help it. Any attempt at 100% love with 0 hate seems like pure denial to me. I'm terrible at explaining stuff so I'll just let you guys think about it. I mean, I love ponies so much, and I cared so much about the way it changed me for the better that the smallest bit of diversity in the brony community set me off and I said so much hateful things. *cough* now I see what the Jedis were talking about. I find it a bit difficult to learn about love and hate with me being a loner and all. I'm just going off what I've watched my whole life with friends and family.
Go with me on this: Helping Hooves. We start a Youtube group for videos about inspiration and self help on a variety of subjects through the lens of the pony theme. We tackle a range of topics in order to breed a video culture that is uplifting and positive to the people watching it. We can use animation, live video, montage and all the rest. We assert our willingness to love and tolerate through our presentations and try to raise others up. Your thoughts...
Yes, this has potential. It sounds close to the AVA movement. The only question, subjects. What subjects would you cover? -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
how everfreeradio's "reviews" are actually commentaries and we give a tutorial on how to create real reviews. seriously guys. The internet reviewer does not review, its that bad. I'm personally analysing famous brony fanfiction and deconstructing them so that people understand why they are seen as good. Plus people learn how to write that well. And I also dehype rubbish fanfics like the infamous cupcakes. But I need a better mic for higher quality stuff, hence it's in hiatus. I do however have folders full of notes. And if this channel thing goes through, I might not have to endure my own terrible video editing.
I wouldn't know, I don't listen to everfree. Reviews are just opinions anyway. So does that really count. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
big difference between reviews and opinions opinions are baseless reviews are educated fully provable opinions which provides evidence to the claims one has. following the formula of this claim>evidence>hence. And it is quite a thorough process. Not something as generalised as a mere opinion.
Reviews are still opinions. I've been told the The beatles are a great band, I don't like them. They have evidence to prove they are good, butits their opinion of what is good. I read reviews that cars 2 sucked, I enjoyed the movie. Reviews are just opinions. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
