well, isn't brony shirt reaction (since I'm still waiting for it to ship), but there was rather interesting situation on collage: first neutral one: I asked 2 friends to help me with some FTP setup on linux on laptop, and there were pony desktop, and they didn't make any reactions (nor any people behind me, which all could see my screen since classroom was anfitheater type), only thing one of them commented was: "look you have changing desktop on linux, how cool." other one (few hours later when my laptop battery was dead): on break, me and few friends talked about random stuff. then one said: "there are so many fantasy worlds, but it's easiest to find a troll on the internet", then discussion about trolling started and eventually 4chan became topic, and eventually someone said: "you need to do something really bad to be banned from 4chan", then I said (in joke):"or you could just post ponies, but get back in few days". then he was "what, what ponies?" then one other (seemed to be irritated friend) said: "he's talking about mlp:fim, that crappy cartoon about ponies, I don't know who watches it". then laug started (I laughed rather sarcastic as well) and said: "I watch mlp:fim" he was like: "um... yeah.. well, it is good quality cartoon, better than most of new cartoons, I've watched few episodes but it's still too childish for me", I said: well, better than watching Ben 10 or something like that", he said: "yeah, it's ok if you watch it and like it(in general) like you (referring to me), but I don't like those fans that overdo it and make mlp only thing in their life (as in he doesn't hate them, or wouldn't harm them, he just finds them annoying)" I was like : "ok", and randomly we started to talk about Futurama and Top Gear then
Oh hey look, changing desktop on linux. :derpe: Futurama, one of my favorites before MLP:FiM. I like the responses that they said, at least they don't hate/bash MLP:FiM. *P.S: Come to Ventrilo* ________________________________ I still haven't wore my shirts this week. I'm probably going to wear my I <3 Derpy shirt on my Physics Test day and a Physics lab after that class. :derpe:
So many reactions to my Fluttershy shirt happened I made a thread about it. http://www.everypony.com/forums/showthread.php?1609-IRL-Brohoof!
My Fluttershy shirt went over better then the Rainbow Dash. All positive, a few " that's a cute shirt" and "awesome shirt". So, I guess I should say "yay" I mean if you guys don't care. *lowers head* *yay*
Got one today and some my friends think i have lost my mind and and the ones who are bronies think it's awesome. :3 Sorry for the Bump.
My "Brony" shirt looks cooler than that. Well practically the same thing but the mane and tail is rainbow color. ____ Anyways, thanks for sharing Turk
I know I saw this shirt and two other shirts which were female sized. And since I had all or most of these shirts in mens using WeLoveFine/MightyFine. I didn't want to get another, I'm still waiting for my next batch to get 5 shirts for only $106.25 lol. (Using 15% Off Code.)
@turk lol i have the same one as well xD anyways i wore mine at school for the very first time and so far ive gotten no negative responses, a couple of stares though which did send shivers down my spine >_< and i did have an argument with my mother about it till i finally convinced her to stop sweatin the small stuff and deal with it
If you guys still haven't seen my shirts here they are :derpe: I haven't taken a picture with my Rainbow Mane/Tail of the Brony shirt I got from MightyFine. This one: http://www.welovefine.com/product.php?id_product=495
well, yesterday my "Dumb Fabric" t-shirt came on mail and today I worn it first time at collage. reactions were following: at first: nothing, no reaction, as I was wearing any other t-shirt. then I met one friend that I know that doesn't like mlp, and seem like he was thinking that I was trolling that I liked mlp whole time (he also said in mlp topic: "I still kinda hope this is very good case of trolling"). anyway, he was with one other friend of my and one guy I didn't know. first 2 of them (my friends) laughed and asked: "what kind of t-shirt is that?", as I know what they were thinking, I tried to turn it to joke by saying: "problem, officer?", and one of my friend said: "yes, problem", then other said, "I didn't know you were really one of them". other guy (that random guy) said "I don't see problem with this t-shirt". one of friends was: "he's a brony, don't you know what brony is?". random guy: "of course I know what brony is, and smiled". friend: "oh, no, you're also one of them, aaaaah". ok, anyway, class started, and later that day, I met again with one of those 2, and asked him in personal, why he has problem with me (his friend) wearing mlp t-shirt. he said that there's no problem, but that he finds odd that I really watch that show, and that he can't find anything entertaining or interesting in it (by his attitude, seems that he's one of more hard core haters on internet). so I told him: "well, it's not like I'm only brony on collage." he said: "I know that but still", I said: "not everything is for everyone. Take Star Track for example." he jumped in: "I hate star track". I said: "neverless, you know that there are lot of people liking Star Track, personally I watched some of Star Track and I find it boring. but that doesn't mean that thousands of people don't find something interesting in it if I don't. Star Track simply isn't my thing, but it's someone's thing, and that's no reason to hate someone, or tell him what or what not to do. I do watch mlp:fim, but that's not only thing that I watch, and my life isn't completely going around it, no one is that straight forward". He was thinking for a minute, and said, well, ok. I hope he won't be such big brony hater anymore. as for other friend, I still have to talk to him about it, and I'll do it today on msn. that friend knows me much longer and even snowboards with me. there was one other neutral reaction: one friend from fer2.net just said: "I knew you were are watching that cartoon, but I didn't know you like it that much", I just said: "well, yeah, I like it. but don't get me wrong, it's not only thing I like, I also like *list of shows*". turns out he's as bid Drawn Together fan as I'm mlp:fim fan, so I compared it to him, and well, we just changed topic (something irl related), and he then went to his class.
I was discussing with my Girlfriends' friends about my purchase from welovefine (Rainbow Dash Wonderbolts Jersey). They all glared at me. I started getting scared. I couldn't tell if it was the good glare or the go set yourself on fire glare. Apparently, it was the good kind. Everyone now wants to buy shirts after they see mine (should be at my doorstep today in a couple hours). I also discovered I have a rival who wants to exclusively be the Rainbow Dash fan of the group who wants to steal the shirt (Eeeeek). I wonder if I can get a crazy discount for referring 5 people to the site. I will put up a picture in a few hours when it gets here! Super duper excited! They said I "was a keeper for sure".
I wish I had brony shirts. I'm just an incomeless middle schooler. However... I have had a few presentations in front of the class where I mention I'm a brony. So far, nobody's insulted me about it or attempted to murder me, so I figure the average reaction is neutral/positive, considering I met 2 other bronies.
Nice, I'm getting that shirt later on. I already purchased 5 shirts before and made a video/thread about it of my unboxing. Anyways I plan on getting more shirts from them later on. P.S: Never iron the shirts near the part of the tag/they put their "WeLoveFine" thing on the shirt, and it dries up and stuff when you iron over it. Note: Never let mother iron my shirts...I rather let them just hang and dry and wrinkles fall off...
Awkward thing happened. I was unable to get my eftpos card working on the ferry. So a guy with a little girl was kind enough to give me some change. His little girl saw my Fluttershy shirt and asked "dad why is he wearing that?". "I dunno, he probably likes it" he replied.
Maybe he's already a brony. :derpe: Anyways, nice that people around you are generous and gave you some change. _____ As for me I was done with my Physics class for the day and decided to go to the student lounge to meet my friends. One friend of my friend asked to see my shirt. (Possibly a brony. Who knows...) Then we had a short minute-or-so discussion of ponies, horses, stallions. :derpe: I was wearing my Vinyl Scratch shirt that I showed in that one unboxing video I made.
I got my shirt! Amazingness abounds! For some reason, they gave me a bag. Not just any bag, it has Cookie Monster and Elmo as cupcakes and Hello Kitty in sunglasses on the other side. It's so big, I could literally curl up in a ball and fit inside it.
Well, I've been wearing my Rainbow Dash shirt every weekend when we go shopping, and I get no reaction at all. I was quite disappointed, really. Then, this past weekend, I noticed something. Just outside Wal*Mart, while walking through the parking lot, I saw two Spongebob t-shirts and a Transformer t-shirt. Maybe Reno isn't quite so backwards after all.
Every shirt but my Rainbow Dash shirt gets ignored. That shirt got a lot of hate. I guess people don't like Rainbow Dash as much as me.
