Huh, I've tried finding one near me however the closest I keep finding are in Florida or far up in the NorthEast. Perhaps I should take another look around.
I'm a bit bad around crowds, but despite this, I still want to attend a con. Brony related cons are in particular desirable since I became a brony. Sadly, funds and transportation keep me at home. *sigh* For now, it remains a dream.
Bronycon has announced Lee Tockar (Stevent Magnet and Snips), Michelle Creber (Applebloom and Sweetie Belle's singing voice) and Cathy Weseluck (Spike and Mayor Mare) as VA's that are confirmed as attending. Also they've announced some of the IDW people as confirmed attendees, specifically Kate Cook, Andy Price and Heather Breckel. No word yet on any of the producers, SA's or Mane 6 VA's, although it has been confirmed that Andrea Libman won't be there as she'll be at GalaCon, which for some brilliant reason is being hosted on the exact same days as Bronycon. Oh, BronyCon. I'd really like to go. This year it's actually close to where I live. To tell you the truth, I've never been to any con before, so I don't know what's it's like being in one. Still, it would sure be an experience.

I'm still on the fence about it, on one hand it would definitely be an interesting experience, but on the other hand it would be quite a bit of money for me to go, and I already have another con booked already. I think for now I'm holding out til they announce more guests.
I've been posting on their forum trying to find people to share a hotel room with. I'm definitely going if I can find someone. It'd be boring and expensive to go alone.
I want to go, but if I tell my mom that I want to go to a massive brony convention in Baltimore, I am pretty sure she is going to have a stroke.
Bronycon just announced Nicole Oliver: voice of Celestia, Cheerilee and Zoey Trent from LPS (if you care about that). I'm started to lean towards going to the con actually...now I'm gonna have to start getting serious about finding hotel accommodations. Bleh. Theoretically I could get my own room for the whole weekend, but that just seems a bit... extravagant. Although rooming with a complete stranger might be more trouble than it's worth...
Welp, it's official - I booked a hotel and am in the process of booking train tickets and yadda yadda. So I'm going to Bronycon! Which is the first con I'll have ever gone to, so it should be interesting.
