Do I really need to say who he is? The single greatest author of our generation, that's who.

Sorry, I've never heard of him. You've intrigued me though, I'll have to check out some of his work.

Generation-The average period, generally considered to be about thirty years, during which children grow up and have children of their own.
You sir, just jumped generations with that cleverly devised meme.

    Nowhere near you.
Hmm... I could list all my Scott Pilgrim merch... but it would be quite the list.
I would have to agree with you, he is an amazing author.

Lost At Sea was just beautiful.

I can agree that O' Mally is one of the better comic book writers of our generation, but I would not say the best. Jhonen Vasquez will always be the best comic book writer. For less mainstream works any who. But O'Mally is defiantly in the top 10.

As for more main stream comic book writers I myself am a fan of Ian Flynn who writes Archie's Mega Man & Sonic The Hedgehog comics. And also oh course gotta love Joss Wheadon's work on Marvel's Runaways series. And George Perez is one of the best writers that DC has ever had (80's Teen Titans series FTW!).

But yeah i'm needing out abit too much I guess, real big comic book geek, lol.

Anywho, back on topic while I do enjoy Scoot Pilgrim, it really doesn't have much re-readability to it when compared to other comics be they main stream or indie. However I do respect it as a prime example of what late 20th century-early 21st century popculture/nerdculture whatever is/has been like. And its also a great way to get friends into comics & manga.
