Sorry if wrong forum but, I've been trying to write a fanfic for a while now, but I always have trouble getting the idea down. In essence, writer's block of sorts, like the idea comes out not sounding right and interesting. In case you were wondering what it is about, it is about my main OC Snow, who is second private pupil of Celestia, and she moves to Ponyville, but past that, I don't have much other than an idea to have Twilight become jealous of her because she is more powerful or something. Just some tips would be appricated, and once again, sorry if wrong forum.
I don't mind that it probably is the wrong forum, since if it was posted in the right forum it probably never would have gotten a response... >.> Anyways, sounds like what I have with my drawings. It looks great in my head, but comes out totally bad. ...Or summat like that. It sounds like a great plot, though as a Twilight Sparkle fan I don't like the idea of somepony edging in on her job (that's just me though). Have you written it down? If so, you could post it here. It would be easier for me to help you if I knew exactly how the story went, even if it is just a rough draft or something. Edit: Nevermind, I just saw "general discussion" and forgot that there was a general discussion thread in the fanfiction section...
Well, I tend to write things first time around on paper, but I could get around to posting what I have to give you a better idea, and also I'm a TS fan as well, that's why she's one of the main characters, in fact, the thought that started my fanfic was the question of how Twilight would respond to a second student of Celestia's, one that was proabably more gifted in magic than her.
Okie Dokie Lokie! -waits- Oh, and if you would like an editor I'll do that too. For some reason that noone else understands, I LOVE correcting stuff like grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, etc. It's horrible, I know, but it's true.
