(On the other hand, if those that have been active up until this point are all innocent, then we shouldn't play on as we'd end up trying to force information from each other that's not relevant to us. We'd go in circles.)
(I highly doubt one of the idlers is the spy to be honest. Dodo wouldn't have chosen them if they were going to just sit around and do nothing. I mean, if this were a real life situation we'd be able to make them talk, but seeing as how this is just an RP that's impossible. So on the slim chance that one of them IS the spy, then it's highly unfair that they just sit around and do nothing. I still strongly believe that one of us 5 are the spy. This game isn't played just in the RP, it's played Ooc too.)

((Sorry, I didn't get the PM for some reason. I've just been told of the scenario in a different one... None of those who have been inactive are the spy. The spy is still active. Of coarse now I've told you this, this cuts the number of ponies suspicious to five. This means I should cut down your tries too... It was three for nine people, so I guess you'd now have two tries as a result of the smaller amount to choose from. Would that be okay with y'all? Anyway, I was never here... *Vanishes*))
Shield considered the suspects. Now that several of the random ponies littering the edges of the room had mysteriously disappeared (dun dun dun), there were only five left who could possibly hold the blame. Well, four, since he knew he was innocent, but best to remember that nopony else did. There was Cal, who Shield didn't really know that much about. If you were to ask him if he thought Cal was guilty, he would say no, but Shield wasn't here to say how he felt. He was looking for facts, and in that regard there wasn't much to go on. Then there was Aima, the cyber-pony. If she was the spy, the only possible way to get her to admit it would be through one of her fits of anger. Aside from this, she had a highly developed intellect (and an admirable vocabulary), which meant that she would be able to manipulate those who relied less on deduction through her jargon. However, she would make a very powerful ally. Teddy. Cool-headed and quick-thinking, although not as obviously intelligent as Aima or himself, it seemed to Shield that he would probably be able to talk his way out of many situations, whether he was lying at all or not. He would be at least as formidable as Aima, if not more. Also, he seemed to have an affinity for puzzles, and things of that sort. He knew, at the very least, that he liked to theorize about time travel, a very complex subject. If the personality of Rex was really his personality, then in Shield's opinion there was very little chance of him being the spy. However, he kept in mind that it was possible that the loyal pegasus's whole attitude was a sham; an act, a masquerade. He could not afford to trust anypony, unfortunately. And finally, he decided to evaluate himself. He knew he was innocent, but he needed to prove to the others that he was innocent. His lack of expression and strange way of putting things would make him seem suspicious, but if he tried to pretend to express emotions, it would just look terribly fake, as well as even more suspicious. He hoped that his generally honest nature would show through, but there really wasn't a whole lot he could prove, even about himself. He looked up from the floor he'd been staring at and glanced at his fellow prisoners.
Aima sat in the corner as a cavalcade of thought and suspicion ran through her mind. 'Who might it be...? Could it be that fellow, Teddy? He seems to be rather intelligent and it's rather probable that he might be using such notions as a masquerade to fool the lot of us. No, no, that's highly unlikely, intelligence cannot be faked precisely, only the lack of. If he were truly using false knowledge as a front to hide his real self, I'm quite certain that that pony, Shield, would have caught wind of such lies as he seems to be rather knowledgeable himself. However, such notions bring me to Rex. What would motivate him to beg for innocence so desperately? Does he not know that proving such a claim will require more than a plea. I guess it's safe to assume the dear is simply afraid, but perhaps he isn't. Perhaps it's all a facade to mask a deeper seated intelligence that lies underneath, after all, faking such a thing only works one way and he fits the bill quite handsomely. Such a thing would be to obvious though, a good spy wouldn't risk drawing attention to themselves through such methods. The same could be said for the converse though, he might only be acting as such to throw the trail off of from the rest of us.' Aima closed her eyes and grabbed her forehead. 'I'm going in circles with this. I need more information to go off of, I need to engage with some of the others, or try to goad them into speaking out. It appears I have a knack for that these days.' Her hoof retreated from her face and fell to the cold steel floor. Aima's gaze turned skyward and towards the ceiling where a dimly lit bulb hung in solitude, providing a lone source of light for the members of the twisted game. She slumped back against the wall, the rust slowly peeling off and adding a red tinted stain to her back. She sighed heavily and allowed her chest to deflate slowly as she turned her attention to the ponies scattered around the room once more, more specifically, Shield. His gaze had met hers during one of his silent streaks and an idea flashed across her mind. 'If I'm to start somewhere, it's with him. He seems smart enough to either be the culprit or aid in his discovery.' She pulled herself off of the ground and ruffled her coat sending small particles of rust and dust into the air. She trotted over briskly and took a seat next to him further screwing up her already tinted coat. "You seem to be in thought a lot, what're you analyzing so intently might I ask?" she said quietly so that the others wouldn't hear.
"Well...everything. Everypony, more specifically. Their actions, reactions, attitudes...things like that." Shield was a little surprised that somepony had come to speak with him of their own accord; usually he was the one to talk first, and that was rare enough in itself. But, he supposed he couldn't sit by himself in the corner forever without looking a little suspicious. He didn't say anything else, however, allowing Aima to lead the conversation forward.
"Hmm, you've been pondering similar topics it seems. It's as though no matter how sure of a hypothesis we can contemplate, there's always a gaping void of doubt that regards the circumstance we find ourselves in. It's painful to be forced into such thoughts regarding one's actions. Are they acting? Or perhaps they're truly like that. Maybe they've prepared for our assumptions and laid mental traps regarding such things to throw us into a internal paradox." Aima sighed and looked down at the ground, the hope was fading from her and fast. She was beginning to doubt her own judgement. There's the possibility that there might be no spy, but there's also the faint possibility that she herself might unknowingly be the spy; forced to pull at the strings unwillingly while attempting to prosecute those who may be innocent. It was beginning to take it's toll on her. "So what conclusions have you come to in your thought?"
"Нету (Nope) I don't because you all seem to be pretty smart and i can't think of no one to suspect and the only plan i have is to beat the spy into a inch of their LIFE for taking me here and making my family worry i know they are too because who knows how long we've been in here"
