"Hmm, that's a better reason than mine..."

 

Tyler looked to them and said
"OH WHY AM I HERE? well I dont know actually but if what you guys said was true and I get a wish then I guess im here for that"

 

"Geez, calm down...", Tj said to tyler

 

"Sorry its just I felt unimportant and useless" Tyler said then breaking out in tears

 

Tj went over to him & put a hoof on his should,"why don't you join us, maybe that'll help you feel more important..."

 

Narrowleaf rolled his eyes. "Alright. He can come with us if he wants." He said.

 

Tj smiled at narrow then asked Tyler, taking the hoof off his shoulder,"so, whadda ya say?"

 

*sniff* "well okay since you're offering" Tyler said then his faced turned happy "so which door are we going through?"

 

A loud screech echoed on one door and Jack opened it, holding a large claw, with a dead giant in the background.

 

Tj pointed at the door she was just at, then looks at jack with slight repugnance

 

"Whoa." Narrowleaf mumbled, jaw dropped in awe. "You did th-that?!!"

 

Tyler got scared at Jack and he ran through a door behind them. The door locked behind him and there was no way of opening it
"Guys?... GUYS HELP THE DOORS LOCKED AND I CANT GET IT OPEN" Tyler screamed as he banged on the door.
Tyler turned around and saw a maze
"Well" *gulp* "looks like im alone."

 

Jack nodded then started back the way he had come, leaving te door open.

 

"Wanna get goin', Tj?" Narrowleaf asked.

 

"Might as well...", Tj replied, waiting for his lead

 

Jack disappeared around a corner at the end of the lane leading from the open door. If they followed him they'd see he actually had vanished.

 

"I'll just let you lead." Narrowleaf offered. "So... Lead us to victory."

 

Seeing that things were getting started, Quickstar picked up his bag of gems and reviewed his thoughts on the whole exercise as he walked towards one of the doors. A wish from Celestia...quite an impressive prize, and one not to be taken lightly. Even so, the others competing seem honorable enough, despite their strangeness. If this maze is to test who is truly worthy of such a reward, then surely we will have our minds and hearts tested as much as our bodies.

He smiled to himself. And that's just how I like it.

 

Tj went to the door she was at a while back & opened it, holding it open & sarcastically said,"stallions first..."

 

"Mares first." Narrowleaf said, motioning to the door.
