"I haven't ever really tried it" He said, shrugging. "the few times I've picked up a book, It just burst into flames" he sighed "but then, pretty much everything I pick up bursts into flame"
"Hmm..." Star made a spell on the book so it didnt burn up. "Here." She said smiling as she gave it to him
Solon blinked as she gave him the book "oh.... thanks! what's in this book?" he opened the book, looking at it with wide eyes "heh... you know, I've never been able to pick something up without superheating it before. Thanks!"
By the time half an hour had passed, Solon had finished the book. "um... could I read the next one?" he inquired nervously.
Star had finished making the food. "Sure." She said as her horn glowed and made the same spell on a small pile of books in the living room.
"Thanks!" he said earnestly as he practically dive into the books "I never knew reading was so AWESOME!"
She giggled and took the food to the table, then started eating, putting a plate of food for him also in the table.
after a moment Solon notices the food. "oh. thanks" he set down the book he had been reading and joined her at the table. "I really am very grateful" he said. "You've been very kind and generous. I don't really get that from many ponies" he smiled, an expression that seemed alien on him. "mostly because I don't really give it to anypony" He admitted after a moment.
"yeah... I have a tendency to go immediately to either anger, contempt, or suspicion..... not the best friend-making attitude" he began to eat, seeming ashamed
"how? I'm pretty sure I'm wanted in several towns, even if they don't know I'm the one who did it. And I'm hated in every town I've ever been in" he sighed. "I've built up a reputation, but not a good one"
(ups, forgot xD next time just say bump or something) "Well, you are not that know in here, so that is a start." Star said smiling a bit
