Legos! Oh my gosh! I forgot all about those! Those were wonderful! My parents hated them, however - I left them all over the floor sometimes. Heh! And I still remember my favorite birthday present - a microscope! Man, did that ever make me happy! Kept it for years and years.
I miss how creepy kids shows were when we were younger. Courage the Cowardly Dog is by far the scariest TV show ever. I don't care how pathetic that sounds haha. Are you Afraid of the Dark?, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Hey Arnold! at times (train to Hell episode, anyone?) and so many others.
Childhood obsessions... Hmm. Well, this may be odd, but I have had an ongoing fascination, almost cultist worship, of the Flatiron Building on Madison Square. It has been my exclusive Facebook profile photo (I change photos every so often, but the building is always there) and I put a 1904 photo of it as a picture that describes me in the "how we perceive ourselves" [sic] thread. If you read the quote that is above it in that thread, you may understand it a bit, otherwise I can't explain it. Less unusual things I have been obsessed with as a child... The Yankees, Honeybees, Legos, Penguins (Manhattan Zoo is best Zoo ever, especially for a kid, I still go there whenever I am home), James Bond films.
