Kona stared confused at the creatures before him and kept his now in the ready position, "Hu?"(what?) he replied simply, utterly confused by these new comers language, it was unlike anything they had ever heard
The explorers looked at each other, deciding that their language was not the best way to approach this situation. "I hope you can understand us now." the explorers switched their languages. "As we tried to say before, We are merely explorers looking for alliances, and we just happened to come across your prospering nation. Our Eriborian wishes to speak with you for terms of wishing to start up a alliance with you. He believes that with our races united, we shall lead the world into a golden age of prosperity. Our leader will wish to speak with you soon once he receives word that both of us are willing to cooperate."
Kona stared at the two, "Why force me to use the guttural language of the savages of this area?" He asked bluntly in a heavy accent, "Tell your "master" that Reno is open to alliance, but if nation of yours is on NatusOliit Holy Lands....Know that Reno is only nation destined to rule the NatusOliit Holy lands."
(seems I've got a bit of catching up) After countless tries and broken tools. They had finally found more minerals. Mainly iron and coal but to them it was a breakthrough. They put the chunks into thin bronze pots (an alloy which they discovered earlier on) and heated it. Watching it burn and melt brought happiness to Arleton and her top advisors. Right there and then she decided to split the iron production to 55% cultural and scientific use 45% military. She also ordered for her nations warriors to give all there old gear be they bronze swords or helmets to their local smith to be melted down to what she like to call wongosh or currency in the tongue of the uncultured. Next she decided to check on the new temple to the gods that was being built. Currently out of the 8 gods none had statutes. This was because the archtitechts and builders were running behind schedule. Only halfway up with the pillars, so obviously it had no roof. This was the people of Heavillia's biggest project yet and she didn't want it to fail or perish over time.
Luneria City grew steadily, as new tools allowed the Lunerians to shape the mountain itself, carving massive buildings from the stone. Several new settlements were established; the city of New Canterlot in the mountains, and the villages of Discord and Nightmare in the valley below. Silver Crescent was proud of how far his country had come. Working together, the Saberai, Lunar Pegasi, and Timber-Wolves had accomplished more than he ever could have hoped for.
Valacian, and a young timberwolf who had become attached to him named Wicker, walked over the large stone bridge leading between the temple's volcano and sunpeak. He stopped at the halfway point and looked over the edge. His armor caught a glint of the light and a shine flew across it's black surface. "This was my dream. A beautiful town within reach of the clouds. A society that stays put and advances more than just their diet. A trustworthy ally. Why do I feel like this is not enough?" Wicker barked happily. Valacian smiled and pet the wolf. "This is more than I even thought possible of my people. They did it. I did it. Wait... what is..." He strained his eyes looking out towards the ocean, and he could swear he saw a town on a distant island. "No. A society on that island..." He whistled, and it echoed in the mountains. After a few moments a Lunar Pegasus, holding a bag of scrolls showed up. "Please relay this message to Silver... I would like him to know of this... intriguing development." He handed quickly wrote down a message on one of the pegasus' scrolls and handed it to him to relay. (The island is only barely visible from the bridge on an extremely clear day because the bridge is above the clouds, the highest point not obscured by mountain.)
Within an hour of receiving Valacian's message, Silver and Holly landed on the bridge, accompanied by six pairs of armed and armored Lunar Pegasi pulling six empty chariots. "I got your message. I have been aware of the island for some time, but I never saw any indication that it was populated. I have prepared transport, if you wish to pay our new neighbors a visit."
"I wouldn't say neighbors Silver... The island is on the other side of the continent... However I saw smoke rising from an area and when I focused I could clearly see something moving around what looked like at least one house. However, It would be a good chance to see the continent if I go with you. It would be my pleasure to accompany you in the journey." Valacian's second in command had arrived before Silver, and took note of all the happenings so he could leave without worrying his people. "Two of the Saberian warriors would have to come as well of course."
"Only two? A good idea. A small group is less likely to be greeted with hostility." Four of the chariots were sent home, leaving one for Valacian and Wicker, and another for Valacian's two guards. "Let us begin our tour of the continent! Where shall we go first?"
As days passed the bronze coins replaced bartering in the ever-growing Market of Stergthi. Sure the military wasn't the best it could be but culture was at an all time high. Though she needed a break, so perhaps a ride to the nearby landmass would suffice. She needed to know first hand what other sapients are like. So she and a group of the best Devi and Paragoni scouts, warriors and scientists set out towards the continent they called Seradtu (Prosperity) more specifically the darkest looking place eretoy (The Unknown).
Despite it's small population, Ardelan grew to an enormous size. With the perfect blend of magic and their technological prowess, they became widely known to others as a technological haven. The population had grown as well, now ranging into the tens of thousands. However, what surprised outsiders the most was their military... Receiving training far exceeding some races and their abilities in general, the Ryborians were a nightmare to face against in combat. Even for it's period of civilization, their armor and weaponry was considered to be the highest of it's class, which, once a suitable trade program was organized, would become extremely profitable. A highrachy was set up with the military and even had another branch, the Spell-Swords. Known to be the special forces of Ardelan, they carried extremely powerful Spell-Swords that could turn them into one man armies. Talk around the nation spread as the military was building up fortifications for the empire incase of attack. With the Eriborian traveling with two Crimson Roses ('Super' versions of Spell-Swords that act as the Eriborian's bodyguard and own personal squad.) to oversee an alliance offer with Reno. The kingdom was left in the hands of his second in command, Yusain Wilacarta. The Eriborian traveling quickly across the landscape through the form of the very first boat to sail across the narrow gulf to Reno. Once he would arrive, he would most likely be escorted to discuss the terms of an alliance, and maybe throw in a perk or two. He just happened to know exactly where the neighboring nation's "Old Kingdom" was...
While the Eriborian was on his way to discuss terms of trade and alliance, the Wood Tamers (who really did everything from mining to forestry) discovered that the strange ore they had found in abundant supply was clearly a gift from the Gods to help with their divine mission. When smelted, the ore proved rich in a strange metal with slightly more strength than iron and had a rich, gold hue to it(it was really Titanium, but they can't get it hot enough to remove the copper impurities). The Renoans quickly imbraced this metal as holy and determined all plows must be made of it as only those metals sanctioned by the Gods were holy enough to til the lands of the Old Kingdom, and that the entire army must be armored and armed with this metal. The day before the Eriborian arrived, Kona led a huge Equestan raid on a nearby tribe who had gotten powerful enough to "think" they could challenge Reno. The battle soon became a slaughter as the wood arrows and thin leather armor of the tribe where no match for Reno's new found metal. Because they resisted, Kona ordered that every man older than 15 be executed for the crime of resisting, and the women and children enslaved and brought back to UrbaReno, a high honor for such traitors. This raid would soon be a staple of Reno's war strategy, the massacre of those who resist and the peaceful integration of those who don't... By the time the Eriborian arrived, he would have found Reno covered in new life as it felt it was on the verge of incorporating it's allies truly into its control, and spread further across the Evonamagnus...
The Tykes instead of mining they were able to claw they're way into rocks finding metal(Which was very valuble in they're cvilization) they forged this into gauntlets that helped them when using they're claws the Tykes soon started forging weaponry and armor expanding every so often to not draw attention the trees around they're town finally made the town as black as night sending scouts to investigate whats outside of this dence forest but always found nothing; eventually some Tykes made it out of the forest but never took a step out of the darkness, Ellis herself went out of the forest and is now searching for possible predators or allies.
As the boat landed, Sar one of the Paragoni scouts spotted something coming from the forest. As they slowly approached and followed it they bumped into what seemed to be a sister species to that of the Devi. Only less red and with horns.
"I am Arleton Seraphax. Head Aeroix Mage and leader of the land of Heavilia. My race is the Devi but I also rule over and work with the Paragoni, such as Sar here. Who might you be possible sister race of the Devi."
Ellis smiled "Well if i knew i had brothers and sisters i woukd've left Darkness Keep to visit you i am Ellis the queen of the Tykes, follow me im sure my kind will be happy to see you." she said and walked into the forest leading Areleton to Darkness Keep.
(I fell asleep in the middle of an important interaction >.<) Valacian and Wicker entered their chariot. "This is... and interesting way to travel. More on the matter though, we should head straight to our target. As much fun as it would be to adventure around the continent again, it would take too long, we have an important mission, and we should focus on that."
When they arrived she smiled.sure it wasn't as advanced as her nation but it was cosy and felt as if the gods wished for it to be the way it was. She turned to Ellis. "This is nice. The eight gods certainly have chosen a clear path for you. Perhaps an alliance could be formed. We will share our resources, culture and technology. Maybe even the power of Aeroix a magical essence of which every Devi and Paragoni are born with but which all must channel it to become Terik's. Allowing for everyone to at least be on the 5rd level of understanding. Myself, well as head Mage and leader I am a Aeternal one of only 3 and master of the 50th level of understanding."
(So... we're visiting Heavilia while the leader's away.) The flight to the island was long and tiring, taking nearly a full day at top speed. The chariots landed on the island's southeastern beach, and the Lunarian's unharnessed themselves and began setting up a camp. Silver took a short scouting flight over the nearest settlement, making sure that he was seen by the locals. He then returned to camp, to await contact.
