"I am not silent, Silver. I am just wishing to listen to our friends on the island." He stood motionless in his shining armor, helmet in hand, Wicker stood at his feet, and his guards stood behind him. "Please. Start your tour, I will follow."
"Before we head off I have a gift for you. This is a dictionary that translates our language into that of the barbaric tongue. perhaps you can use it to create a Heavillian to whatever your official language is." she looked to the sky. "Looks like the wind is picking up it seems we'll be having our 3rd Thux storm this month." She then began to guide Silver and his associates to the Capital.
Ellis sighed an decided to go to the main area stalls were set from either sides she looked at all the stalls quite confused of where to go next.
Once arriving in Strengthi which she explains stands for Thri's Stronghold they were greeted by a bustling market and port. As well as a town crier reciting the latest news. "This is the market obviously. the main place for trade and produce in Strengthi. Just up the road on the left is to the grounds of the temple of the eight; while the one on the right leads to housing, shops, public baths and the great hall. The meeting place for me and my advisors, that is where treaties, laws and alliances are signed and passed. Any Questions about the market and which area would you like to visit next." (This is possibly going to be my last post at least for another 4-6 hours)
Silver watched the goings on of the market with great interest. Finally, he turned to Valcian, smiling. "They seemed to have mastered the art of commerce. Our races could learn much from each other. They would make good allies."
"Of course they would... but I get an odd feeling of this area. Something like dark magic... Could easily be my imagination, but still... No matter, please, let us continue." Valacian and his guards' tails all seemed to flick around nervously.
After exploring the area Ellis sat down and looked at the people hurriedly walking about, she had much to tell when she got back to Darkness Keep.
Venquis bowed to Kona before leaving towards the Grand Barracks and taking the detachment of soldiers he received until setting sail with his guards and the number of soldiers now under his command. Soon, Ardelan soon has banners of Reno covering the nation alongside the flag of Ardelan as the kingdom was absorbed into Reno as a province. With this addition, Reno is now one of the strongest nations in the world. Venquis, true to his word, started the construction of materials, weapons, armour and various new pieces of new technology instantly to benefit both of them. The Eriborian seen Ardelan as the technological side of Reno while the remainder of the nation was the militaristic. However, with the new tax that has been implemented by the treaty, it’s prices has been reduced overall for mass stock. However, they are still extremely profitable and can easily keep their profits up. Reno and Ardelan would start its glorious friendship with both of them assisting each other. (Who wants age advance?)
(Agreed with Ridley) Soon after the new alliance, Reno had made a full map of the Evonamagnus all the way to the mountains capping it, and a little further. The reason being was that Renoan scouts had scoured the area, looking for signs of the Old Kingdom, looking for its edge on the Evonamagnus, and found it. Now, drums beat throughout Renoan territory, from UrbaReno to the most distant Vido Ally tribe. The First Grand Crusade was forming, and soon, the First Holy Reclamation Army will be assembled to take the Old Kingdom lands of the Evonamagnus...
The Blue pearl made her way through the violent winds of the sea. Her destination, this time, was uncertain; The crew tried their best, but the 3G couldn't give them the internet necessary to run Google maps They couldn't keep their direction straight. They kept hiting the water with their ''watersticks'', until they saw a land. And a few spots of smoke; that could only mean one thing in Velvet Haze's mind; there was some cooked meat and Ashes to collect, or there was cooked meat, Alcohol, Ashes, and merchants to deal with. She looked at her merchandise; mostly herbs, smoked food and a lot of precious stones, some even mounted on chains or bracers. The witch of the crew smelled the air; they approached the land. Coming from south, they slowly went to the left of the peninsula (they didn't know about that, but they knew they's be able to get their ship to that small island in the middle of the bay they spotted.), until they reached that small island. Coasting the boats between the coast and the island, they slowly installed their campments on the beach; small tents in a demi-circle, facing the forest, with a huge fire pit. The sun aalmost down already, the camp's started to grew in activity; the whole place started to get decorated at the style of their homeland, Rich and colored, and many of the crew members started a fire and played some music. Velvet looked at the sun setting. Tomorrow, they'll start getting on the island. Or maybe tonight, she thought with a smile, if they played loud enough. (sorry for forcing my way in, but i've been invited by Snow; the alliance is clearly ahead.)
"We would gladly accepted one. Now if you follow me to the Temple of the eight." they walked up the road and once there she revealed a large pantheon like marble and gold building. The only statue that was visible from the outside was Thi, Ruler of the Gods and Creator/protector of Life. Next to Thi was Syi her arm was the only visible thing from where they were standing. "This is the Temple. Many people come across from the other settlements to worship to the gods despite having a temple devoted to the cities main god. The man you see is Thi, king of gods and creator/protector of life. Though you cant really see her that arm belongs to Syi. Queen of the Gods and the goddess of culture." she stepped aside to allow Silver to go in first.
Silver entered the temple and took a look around. It was indeed impressive. "Your religion is unknown to me. If will need to know more about it before our nations form an alliance. I also wish to learn more about your economy. Your people seem to be skilled at commerce. As my own race grows, we will eventually need to develop an economy of our own. Your knowledge would prove useful to that end."
The Ryborians prepared themselves for an upcoming battle. Apparently, a tribe located to the edge of Ardelan thought they could take down the Ryborians and rule the nation for themselves. They mobilized in their armor and headed towards the site of the tribe. The resulting battle lasted no-longer than a minute. Mages sent waves of fire against their enemies while archers picked off leaders of the tribal assault, there was no need for the infantry to even join in. In the end, the entire force was massacred as the Ryborians then went towards their village and took them as slaves. Resistance was very low, and any who tried to fight back was dealt with....quickly. After rounding up their new captured tribals, they burnt the entire village down and took them back to Neromia where they would be shipped to Reno as Conquoenotesto to build their nation and as a token of gratitude. Ardelan was now in the slave business, and was starting to make a name for itself since it was absorbed into Reno.
"I will certainly oblige. The full name of our religion is Arenti-Regisare-dreamety. It consists of 8 gods 3 who embody Celest Aeroix, 3 which embody Luni Aeroix and Thi and Syi who embody both. The Celest Gods are mainly worshipped by the Paragoni. Those gods are Jarec, God of trade and merchants who embodies the spirit of Celest Aeroix. Sarecon, goddess of health and beauty; she embodies the Soul of Celest Aeroix. Then finally there's Celest herself, Goddess of Yui or Heaven; she embodies the Light of her own Aeroix. Next are the three main gods of Luni Aeroix. Those who mainly worship them are the Devi such as me. Titus, The God of War and the embodiment of Victory. Xenthos. God of the stars and the embodiment of The unknown. Finally there's Luni, Goddess of the Void our version of he'll so to speak. She is the embodiment the Darkness." she took a breath while pointing to each statue in their separate rooms. People could be seen casting Celest and Luni magic as a offering to there chosen god. Most were offering to Sarecon. She continued to answer Silvers next query. "Our economy involves small thin bronze disks called Heavi each Heavi is worth a certain amount based on size and what number is on the coin. We also have Silver and Gold coins which allow you to buy more expensive stuff without having to have a full sack of bronze disks with you. For example if you were to buy a permit to set up a stall in the market place if you were to pay with bronze it would take around 4000-4500 of them. If you were to pay with silver it would be 2000-2250 Heavi. While with gold it will take you 800-1000 pieces. We also have a system which allows you to deposit money for safekeeping as well as withdraw it and convert between bronze, silver and gold." Arleton handed two of each to both Silver and Valcian. "You may do what you like with them. Either study them or spend them. With that amount you'll be able to buy some mint leaves, which freshens your breath quite nicely or sweets with the bronze, a small handcrafted dagger with the silver or a piece of Devi armour with the gold."
"Sweets? I have not had candy since leaving Equestria..." Silver turned to Valacian, his face serious. "I believe that this alliance will be good for all of our races, but I will not betray old friends for new. I will not form this alliance without the consent of the Saberai." While Silver Crescent practiced diplomacy in Heavilia, Lunarian forces were moving westward. Dozens of tribes of humanoid apes, known simply as "Earthkin," had been discovered. Though intelligent, their crude stone weapons were no match for Lunarian weapons and armor. While researching the tribes, it was discovered that the Earthkin were divided in two factions: The majority were in the worker caste, which farmed the land and raised the livestock; and the small minority formed the warrior caste, which "protected" the workers in exchange for a large share of the harvest. After several weeks of observation, the Lunarians approached the Earthkin workers with an offer: The Lunarians would eliminate the warrior caste, and in exchange, the Earthkin tribal lands would be annexed into Luneria. Tired of years of oppression, the workers agreed without hesitation. In less than a day, every warrior Earthkin was dead. Grateful, the worker Earthkin greeted their liberators with open arms. The Lunarian Empire had begun...
"I understand, once you come to a decision I will be in the great hall. An alliance and trade agreement is already waiting for you if you choose to accept. Enjoy your sweets, I would personal go for the mint sugar orbs but the rose and lavender variants are nice too." she waved goodbye as she took to the sky and headed off only to bump into Ellis.
Ellis turned around and smiled "Hm? Well hello, i was wondering...Do you have a blacksmith here?" she asked.
"Why yes we do, Three in the capital alone. There's the market smith down by the docks selling your average normal stuff. The Hunter Smith near the forest edge which sells hunting gear such as bows and light armour. Finally there's the the Aeroix Forge at the top of the road before you get to the temple. They sell enchanted stuff and Aeroix ingot weaponry. Though it's highly expensive." Arleton smiled as she thought to herself, with these new species in a possible alliance she's going to need to employ tour guides and serices for visitors.
(I fall asleep while you people are doing stuffs >.<) "Silver, as I said. This entire area gives me a feel of dark magic, but, that said, you are correct. They would be great allies to have." Valacian walked up to the statue of Xenthos. "Embodiment of the unknown. They even have a god that itself represents that which they do not know..." He stood in thought for a moment. "Very well. I support the alliance wholly. It is in the best interest for all involved." The Saberai guards walked up to the god of war. "Show respect lady and gentleman. These are the gods of our new friends."
