Community Praise Thread

I see this topic is quiet for too long.
well, time to start doing nice things for everypony again
I'd like to phrase few bronies that in this winter kept their hearths in right place and knew that true spirit. those are people that are keeping hope in this community:
Pixel Hope, Danvid (I hope you will return) and Foxytail

 

Agreed, good sir. I was just about to praise these three for their outstanding accomplishments in this community. So, in a way, I was Forum Ninja'd. Good work, son.

This is a great thread to have. In my short time here I've made quite a few friends already. A few of them stand out and need to be mentioned though. Everyone has made me feel very welcomed here, but two have gone above and beyond.

Windsong - She was the first one to welcome me to the site, and a very warm welcome it was. Additionally she liked my rough idea of who my character is and made me the avatar you now see just as I visioned it. She designed my cutie mark as well and became a very good friend. Thank you very much Windsong!

Mint Chill - He joined I guess just maybe one day before me but already showed me how great bronys are here. He is a great example of the positive influence this community has on people. He and I have become very good friends now and have been welcoming others. He just can't help but be minty when he is so cool.

Skyfire, Annonymouspony, and Double Rainbow - These three were also among the first to welcome me and request me as a friend. I've since made many more but the first ones are usually the best ones.

 

I just want to give a resounding Thank You to everyone on this forum =) Forums in general have a reputation for being snarky, crude, and downright cruel at times. You really have to be a bitter and jaded person to flourish on those ones. But everyone is so kind, caring, and loving here. We're FRIENDS. We care about each other. I know I've only been here a matter of days really, but I've seen you guys support each other through the bad times and celebrate through the good. You guys are the living embodiment of "If you can't take me at my worst, you don't deserve me at my best."

Just seeing how you guys treat each other really makes me glad that when I decided I wanted to join some sort of pony forum, Everypony was the one I chose. =)

Wow, there hasn't been much praise on here for the longest time. Let's see what I can pull out right here...

Foxytail- I hardly think I need to clarify here, but if I didn't it would defeat the purpose. You're awesome. Yup, that about covers it.
LeftEpicBrohoof- Your recent help on the radio is really appreciated, although you like to troll me every now and then. I still need to draw that picture for you. Speaking of trolls...
Fluttermod- Even though you're a guy you're just so adorable sometimes it makes me hnnnggg. -Shakeshake- Totally makes my day way too much. Also, you sell yourself way too short at times, you're an amazing artist.
ePONYmous and Cyberpony- I'll admit I don't talk to you guys much, but from what I hear you help around the community so much. It's always good to see those who take their jobs to heart.
Berreh Pawnch- You DJ!...
Your constant 5 hour shifts inspire me to spend more time on air.
Virgil- I know we barely ever talk, but you're an awesome guy. Your art continues to drive me forward and continue to get better myself.
S.P. Rocket- You're in the middle of a tough journey. Not everyone can accomplish a couch to 5K. I hope you manage to reach your goal, you definitely deserve it.

Thank you so much, Foxy! That means a lot. It's still hard to believe that it's been almost 3 months now, and back then I used to be afraid to talk to you, heh. Now look at me, working under your wing (pun intended), and now those previous apprehensions have totally vanished. I'm glad that I've gotten the opportunity to know you a little better.

The Saikyo Brony - My very best friend. I just want to praise you for everything you have done for me. You have helped me out a lot with some recent issues and I want to thank you for that. It's always such a pleasure to talk to you as well!

Cyberpony - My brother, you mean so much to me, and more. I want to let you know that it's not only a pleasure to work with you, but you are simply amazing to talk to in general. I am very proud to call you my online brother. I love you.

sweetie belle - (a.k.a. Rebel Dash), ah, my pet... I kid! That's what you call yourself anyway. XD Seriously though, you are a very good friend, and I'm so glad to have been given the opportunity to know you. I'm sorry about the things that have happened in your past, and I will make sure that none of those things happen here. You are not only fun to talk to, but a great friend!

Insane Lugia - My love. You mean everything to me. Whenever I think of the two of us together IRL, it puts a smile on my face, and gives me a warm feeling inside. Being with you is one of the few things that make me happy. It's one of the few things I'm looking forward to in life. I cannot wait for the day when we can meet in person and remove the distance between us. I feel closer to you than I have ever felt and I feel our bond growing stronger with each passing day. I love you so much, Honey. ♥

nbunomad - I'm sure I'd be the last person you'd expect praise from. I know we have our problems and we know what's become of them, but I do have to praise you for something. I'd be a fool to not give credit where credit is due. In fact, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't even be in the relationship I am in now. It was you that opened my heart to the possibility of even being with a guy. It was through the RPs and your love for Zephyr Wind that changed me for the better. I'm trying new things, and I'm even considering things I never would've thought of six months ago. I've always considered myself an open-minded person, but you helped take it a step further by opening my heart, and for that, I thank you. It's a shame that our friendship ended up the way it did.

You helped me open my heart up to its realization that there's much more to my life than I thought. Because of you, I've slowly walked over to becoming a bicurious pony, and like you, I'm happily dating a guy I truly can say "I love you~," to. Like you said, when I first joined this site, I never thought I'd be anything like I am now. But look at the both of us now, Brother... We're Community Patrol Brothers, we both love each as brothers, and we're both dating our sweet lovers on here. When I said I want us to meet up someday, I mean it. im glad that i did do something good for you during our friendship, I have gotten over what happened between, but i still hate that our friendship had to be torn apart like this... I was told something a while back, Best friends always fight, and even sometimes have the biggest fights, but true friends are the friends who laugh after the fights. :/ i wish we could have laughed more often. I still regret that the first best friend I've had in 6 years, was torn away from me from my mistakes. My offer to renew our friendship is still on the table.

ePONYmous= The first Best friend I've had in the last 6 years of my life. You are the one that showed me that there was something to be happy about, that life isn't as bad as it seems, you even helped me through a suicidal period i had in my life and i can never repay you for that. I never expected any friendship to end the way it did, especially our friendship. I believed 120% that our friendship would last for a very long time, that the trust we had in each other would never be broken, that the ability to be at home around you would never go away... I wish there was a way to rebuild that, but i know that the feat i am talking about is impossible. I do not think it can ever be fixed... Thank you so much for giving me a second chance at life and showing a side of me i never knew... you have caused me the greatest joy in my life, but the worst as well... Mainly because you unlocked a part of me that i never noticed before, a part of me that was carrying this massive ball of negativity and depression, but also this limitless source of positivity and happiness. Thank you, thank you so much for everything... I could fill up this whole page with everything i could have thanked epony for, but some of the other stuff is stuff he wouldn't want me sharing.

Now I have some peeps I want to mention in no real order. Some might read this, some might not.

Manehattenite - Your posts are just the best. A refreshing dose of common sense and an unfaltering willingness to speak your mind. Some people consider you abrasive or harsh, I think neither. I almost look forward to your posts, given your insight on a topic.
Also you posted a picture of you smoking a pipe and I was just like woah.

Berry Punch - It's weird, because although you're a wicked guy, always up for laugh and never shying away from the messed up silliness we get up to, you're also a hard worker, possibly one of the most determined and toiling staff members here. This website is infinitely greater with you here. Also you're such bro, you drunken Aussie you.

Zephyr - You are like, the broiest bro to ever bro with. You bro my bro, bro. Seriously though, you're a real nice guy to talk with, and God damn you funny. We share several common interests, such as stamina based sports, Homestuck, an extreme dislike of people eating loudly and a fondness of poo jokes.
Zephyr, ladies and gentlemen.

Derpy Hooves - You run a site through good and bad yet you just stick through it. I trust you can fight off the stress and strain, as you're a real dapper guy. Not only that, but you've put up with my emotional turbulance through what has been and still is a life destroying event, and have been very understanding of the whole situation.
On top of that, our talks are always really insighful and interesting.

Voodoo - Doubt you know this but you are my inspiration. The music you create is like, exactly what I stive for, that sort of chilled hip hop kind of groove. If I had the time, as well as the willingness to fight this fear of talking to people I highly respect, I'd be pestering you for advice like mad. Good job I don't, in a way!
On a side note, your remix of Rainbowdash by Silva Hound is my favourite song in this entire fandom, and one of my favourites outside of it. It helped me through some tough recent times, and although that wasn't your intention, it still means lot to me.

Futret - As above, your work is inspiration and really eye opening (mostly your non Futret work). You introduced me to this world of folk like music I never thought I'd like, and it's simply amazing. Why does Cornwall produce so many good artists?

Scyithe - Not the chattiest guy around, but you are an excellent moderator and DJ. You take your work seriously and you are a credit to the staff. You're such an excellently presented guy, it's brilliant to have you.
But sorry bro, I just couldn't get into Renard. I tried.

Grey Nightmare - Oh gee, you kind of... made this website?! Really though, such an awesome dude. I've got bags of respect for your tireless work ethic, and damn right I consider you a friend. Although Im not attending the meetup this February, we have got to rendezvous again soon.

Apple Core - Damn you're a nice guy. Like seriously, I always love having a chat with you. You're a really genuine guy, although maybe little self doubting. I assure you, there is nothing to doubt. A legitimately nice guy, and your questions on my tumblr are always welcome; they often cause me to do a bit of self reflecting.

KaitlinWonders - You only joined this site for a little bit, but you are the greatest person I've never met. I've known you for so long, and I've learned you're kind, sincere, funny, insightful and warm, and always providing of a good talk. Never change. Never. I just wish there was an adequate lexicon to summarise how high a regard I hold you.

Lauren Faust - I love you but why won't you accept my letters? I swear to God I won't post any naked ones again, I promise.

CometGoat - I like reminding people you're my real life best mate because you are best pony. Bro, you know what you did, and oh my God I have never laughed so much.
Dude I need a haircut, and you should do it. I trust you (to mess this up beyond belief).
Oh yeah and you are like, the biggest contributor to my musical learning ever Boyinaband ain't got nowt on you, son.

Kimd of a shame most people here don't know you as much, but oh well.
