Community Praise Thread

I gotta say, everypony in radio and forums are just so awesome....

 

I see this thread is kicking back into gear again. Well, I posted a fairly hefty list of thanks a while ago, but I'm not sure anybody saw. Well, here I go again. I'm just going to copy paste it, but with a few alterations based on recent events, and the fact I feel I left some seriously good people out.



I've been meaning to post on this thread since it was created, but what with the murder of my stepdad, I haven't been able to find the energy and mental stability to write anything. I've barely been able to come to this place at all. However, I'm going go take advatange of the fact that I'm on a bit of a happy streak, and give some praises while I'm still able to.

I've been here for a while, so some I'd like to thank for what I feel they've done in the long term, and others for events more recent and personal.

Zephyr Wind - I love everyone here, that goes without saying, but you're something special. You're a really close friend, and I of course always love to hear from you. I can't fault you in a single way, and you're just a nice guy, basically. This community is about friendship, loving and kindness, and you are the embodiment of that. I'm proud to call you my friend, I really am.

ePONYmous - You are a credit to this whole community. You're intelligent, you're considerate, and you're a genuinely nice person. Seldom do you find someone that smart, and that friendly. There's just nothing you can do wrong. You're a fantastic person, I hope you realise that. I know for a fact that people look up to you here, and I'm sure they do in real life, because you are the very epitome of what a role model is. You may be only 25, but you're much more mature than that. Yet still, you maintain a happy, friendly nature. That's just brilliant. I can relate to you really well, and if I can be honest, I look up to you. You're a wonderful person, you really are, in every aspect. Also, you're by tl;dr buddy, how about that?!

Yeti - How nice can someone be? You have got to be one of the most helpful and selfless people there are. You are always ready to listen to people, and you're great when someone needs some support. You make those with issues feel like they're not alone, and that's more than respectable. Not everyone has the desire to help people like you do, and for that, I have nothing but extremely good things to say about you.

The Saiko Brony - You should be proud of yourself. You have had it so damn difficult, yet you would never have guessed it. Not only have you been strong enough to overcome your own problems, but you extend that into helping others with their own. For that, I'm almost lost for words. Those who know you should be proud to do so, because I sure as heck am.

Dwynter - You have nothing bad to say at any given moment. You're friendly, you're happy, you just brighten up the forums. You're very considerate, and I can't think of much more to ask from you, really. I remember when you first joined this place, I immediately took a liking to you. I'm glad you're here, Dwynter, because this place would be a much emptier one without you. Also, you're life story thread has only increased the respect I have for you.

Pinkie Pie (Rasii on the forums) - I don't think I've ever bore witness to someone with as much happiness as you have. You are the mascot of this community, in my opinion. What amazes me is that you not only have nothing bad to say about anyone, but you have nothing less than extremely friendly to say either. I've always believed that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. You've gone beyond that, because you actually always have something nice to say. You make this place a nicer one to be in, as I've never met someone who can brighten a day up as much as you can. Also, I'd like to thank Dashie through you, for being concerned about me, it really means a lot.

Affection - From what I've seen, you really live up to your name. Your concern and love for the other users around this forum is heartwarming, it's a truly lovely thing to see. You embody a certain characteristic of this community, and that is the, funnily enough, affection for one another, the care and willingness to go out of your way to helop others. Thank you for being like that, really.

Setzertrancer - A real regular round here, I've always enjoyed what you've brought to the forums. You're interesting, generous, and a generally nice bloke. I can't think of a single thing wrong about you, and I'm so glad this community has you. Even putting aside your talent and dedication to the brony blog as well as this site, you're an absolutely fantastic person and I'm over the moon to know you.

Foxytail - I could not think of a better community manager. You're one of the nicest people here, and you're just the right mix of friendliness and level headedness. You're a great person, and there's nothing bad to be said about you. You work hard, you're mature, and you're just deserving of all the praise aimed at you. Thank you for all you've done.

Grey Nightmare - Of course, thank you for all you've done. You've done so many people the world of good with this place, there's not enough we can do to ever reward you for it. I of coure have to thank you on a personal level for entrusting me with the fan fiction moderation position. I'm just so sorry I can't keep on top of things, I feel like I'm letting you down. I just hope you understand that I just can't to it right now, as even writing this post has taken almost all of my energy and time.

Derpy Hooves - A worthy administrator. You're brilliant at what you do, and we all feel safe knowing that you have a part in the running of this place. I also want to thank you for putting my music on the EveryPony YouTube. It meant a lot that someone would do that, so for that, I want you to know that I am extremely grateful. Thank you.

Flash - I want to thank you for all the hard work you put in. You really go above and beyond what is expected of you, and that's mighty admirable. I hope you get the respect and admiration you deserve, because you've earned a heck of a lot of it in my eyes. You're a great DJ, and a great person. Thank you for doing what you do best.



Now, there are a small number of people who I'd like to thank for reasons more recent.


ePONYmous - I want to thank you for being there when I needed you. As always, you responded with a long, well thought out post that was just what I needed to hear. I made it clear that I seldom ask people for help, and that I'm suprised I asked anyone at all, but I'm glad I asked you. You didn't make me feel a burden and you made a significant impact on me. Thank you.

Dwynter - I didn't asked for your concern, and I didn't demand you help me, but you did. You went out of your way, with a very long and meaningful message, and it meant a lot. You really seemed concerned, and you clearly thought about what you were saying. Trust me, it went a long way. I'm very grateful for that, and I assure you, it will come back to you in the future.

Pinkie Pie - I have so much to thank you for. You taught me how I could get over this, and although I've got a while to go before I can resume a normal life, thanks to you I know that's possible. I've always maintained that this community is lucky to have you, and I'll stand by that forever. There's not enough thanks in the world to give you. It's as I told you, this world would be a much better place if everyone were like you.

Trixie (on EPR) - Just a small thank you, I'd like to thank you for leaving a message on the Cardiff City forums in memory of my stepdad. I didn't ask you to do that, you went out of your way instead, and that means an awful lot. Pinkie Pie did the same afterwards, and I just want you to know, that although there were thousands of condolences sent over many mediums, what you did was extra special. Thank you. Also, I know you're going through a bit of a rough spot yourself. Just know you have my deepest concern and I'm always willing to help you.



There are more I'd like to thank, but how upset I've been recently has limited how much I can do, and I'm exhausted. Just remember, I do love and thank you all.

Yeah, a few alterations, and perhaps more in the future. I think I'll just post a prand new list next time.

 

I suppose this is the best place to thank you for the nifty new green crystal I got. It sure is shiny! And a special thanks to Saiko for pushing me over the top on that.

And I would like to thank you for all the kind words people have said to me - I feel like I just fit right in. I wasn't sure how much you'd like this old guy hanging out with you, but you've all made me feel like one of the bunch, so, thanks a bunch!

I don't deserve your mention. I've just had a crappy life, no need to dwell on it, is what I say. It's the past. Nothing is going to change it. I can't just flip a switch and make my dad love me, and my mother stop "Loving" me.
I have to move on. Even if it brings pain to myself or others.
Mistakes, whether they are your own or others, make you stronger in the end. Helping people overcome those mistakes is what I am here for.

Luprony - You're extremely strong and wise, even when so much bad %#@* hit the fan. I respect that in people, no matter who they are. I consider you my brother for many different reasons.
ePONYmous - My friend, you're one of the main people here who makes sense in what they say and they have evidence and their own beliefs to prove what they say. Thank you for a great time.
Snowy - Thank you for what you do for the community. The fact that you take the time to reply to everyone on the music thread really suprises even me.
DRD - While I still dislike you (Not really. :Trollestia for you-know-what, You're a great friend. I'll be there soon.

Foxy - Thank you for being such an awesome person. I admire you and everyone else that manages and keeps this site in check.

Grey - Thank you for keeping the site up. We wouldn't be here without you.

Dwynter - You're like a dad to me. I've already said this, I know, but your support with everything has helped me go on. My father was never there for me when I needed it, but you are. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Winter Lotus - Your husband is a good man. That's really all I can say. I'm at a loss for words.


Zephyr Wind - I can't really express how much that I can thank you right now. I mean really, I can't. I may be older than you by 5 friggin' years, but you're more active and intelligent than me in a variety of ways. Thank you so much for your support and I hope to keep going on, WITH you.

Setzertrancer - You're one of the best people on this site. As someone who hasn't drank in ~2.5-3 weeks, I highly implore you to find SOME WAY to get out of drinking. It'll make you feel so much better, believe me.

I know I'm forgetting... OH!


Pixel Hope - Thank you for being there whenever I needed you most. I appreciate your support. (Also, a small update to the "Project" I told you about a couple of weeks ago is coming out with an update tommorow. Anyone who wants to know details can shoot me a PM.)

I have given many bronies shoutouts and some in particular deserve a shoutout again for recently being awesome.

Saikyo Brony: I still have not broken my addiction yet and I cannot remember the last time I have been away from alcohol for more then 3 weeks. But you are really inspiring me to find a solution. It is starting to really put me in trouble financially and professionally, it has even made me very lazy and unproductive in my free time. But don't worry. I have reached the end of the rope now. I cannot afford to drink any more without getting kicked out of school due to not paying my fees.

I understand what you mean by feeling better, I felt better after only a few days sober. The next episode of MLP will be the last time I drink in celebration and then that's it and If I continue to struggle, I will come to you for help as you obviously know what you are doing.

Also If you have changed your mind about helping with the blog, that fine, I'm not disapointed. It's my own fault for digging myself into this creative trench. One I start thinking normally again. I'm sure my creativity will come back too.

Snowy Shuffles: Thanks for thanking me for the reputation, I think you may be the first one to ever actually thank me for that. Although others may have thanked me by just return rep. You are an active and interesting brony and I am a fellow headbanger growing my hair long, keep up the awesome hair dude.

@Luprony: This is more a response then anything although you are awesome. I don't think I deserve that praise, my life is in a mess for reasons mention earlier in this post and until I can escape it. I do not deserve to be called devoted to anything as much as I would like to say that about myself. I have gotten Lazy and I am disgusted at myself for this.

You are an awesome and I mean AWESOME friend, who likes to make humongous posts that I like to see. [Size=-2](Even if they are a bit tl;dr-ish...)[/Size] Also, you make me laugh from time to time. Someday we should meetup here in Florida or somewhere near you. (Heck maybe even with Zephyr and any other person that comes to Florida!)

Who knew we had some similar thoughts and ideas! Maybe we have some things in common? Anyways stay 20% Cooler, or 40% Cooler like me.

-Zephyr Wind; You were one of my first friends, even though I was the one who sent the friendship request first...IIRC... Anyways you are an awesome friend to have and I would really like to see you in person to get to know you a bit more. Not to mention you haven't praised me in your post yet. Haha. Although I rarely go on the EPR that much, it's due to the fact of insomnia and I cured it. You guys were a blast to talk to on the EPR even though you guys were lurking or playing Terraria. Heh.

-Affection; Affection you are one awesome dude. I hope we will meet up someday even though I'll be old and you'll still be younger than me. Promise that we'll meet one day. Assuming this meme NEVER dies down. I'll see you in years to come.

-Sonic Bluefire; You are also awesome! I really liked you for how you act on the forums, and that your also from Brazil/Brasil. Not to mention you can speak a good amount of English! One day I can visit Brazil/Brasil and not get lost or understand Portuguese, or you can come to the U.S.A; Florida and we can go to a good amusement park.

-Luprony; Your another awesome dude. Although I see these threads around, you are another great friend to have. Unlike my real social life, you guys are closer to me than any other of my IRL friends. (Besides one best friend IRL.) One day we will see each other if possible.

-DisasterMaster + Rapi_Dash (Theberserked); Although I never see you on the forums that much, I hope you guys can post again and show yourself. I miss you guys and rarely get to chat with both of you. If your on the EPR that's an exception, it's just that I don't go on the EPR that much or at all...

-Tenortrouble; Once again, another great friend to have. Although we may have our differences, we are bronies and are proud to be one.

-Setzertrancer; One of the best friends anypony could have. Although we don't talk to each other at all or directly on EPR/EPF, I like to see all the threads you created ever since your first one.

-Snowy Shuffles; One of the most awesome people here to tell you the truth. Not to mention, thank you for joining the Ventrilo and spending time chilling. Not to mention you were one of the first to start a conversation with me over Ventrilo, and Swift_Dreamer was the other one.
I'd like to chill with you on my Ventrilo or wherever some more. You should come down here to Florida if you ever get a chance. Bring ePONYmous with you while your at it. Heh, anyways stay frosty or 20% Cooler! :derpe:

-Dwynter; One of the other awesome Rainbow Dash fans here in the forum, also it was nice chatting with you. I might someday come over to Reno, NV or you could come relax over here in Central Florida and go to DisneyWorld or Universal Studios. (Although your closer to the one at CA.)

-The Saikyo Brony; Another friend that has similar things in common. Tekken/Tales of Series/Etc... Whenever you get another PS3 let me know and add me. Also, come into the Ventrilo more often so someday you can stream more music and get your turns even more.

-Swift_Dreamer; It was awesome to talk and sing together on Ventrilo haha. Lets do it some other time when your online. Also come down here to Florida and become 20% Cooler. Not to mention you where also one of the few who started to talk to me.

-Pixel Hope; Another cool person who also joined my Ventrilo Server. Was awesome to talk to you even though you didn't know about the "PTT" haha. Stay 20% Cooler, and you'll know that Rainbow Dash is right beside me because she is mine. Come down here to Florida and we can share Rainbow Dash together. :derpe:

-Thanapony; Once again, another awesome person on the forum who goes into my Ventrilo Server. It was nice talking to you and all the others. I wish we could all meet up someday. Not to mention stop spamming TTS like Saikyo and Rapi_Dash. :derpe: See you in Ventrilo my friend.

-Miggy; Another user who has joined my Ventrilo Server, anyways thanks for stopping by and also being in the server even before I get into the server and tell people that I'm online. Stay chill.

-Will add more eventually, assuming I'm in the first page.

Thank you very much, Foxytail. I appreciate that a lot. Although what you said about rewards is intriguing, I find it rewarding enough just to have the members here compliment me. To me, that's all the reward I need to be happy. Without the wonderful members of this community being so kind to me, and therefore motivating me, I'd be nothing. Now that we have 3 community officers browsing the boards, I hope that the other, much better members, attain recognition for their contributions to the forum. Many of which have already been praised by myself and others. Once again, thank you for your kindness.

I hope I got everypony that mentioned me after I last posted. I'm pulling a Snowy Shuffles kind of post here, heh. If I didn't, by all means, send a message whiiiining complaining to my inbox, and I'll fix it. The last thing I want to do is leave out somepony.
