"We're waiting on our sleeping friend in the other room. Once he's here... well... I'm assuming they'll open another room... I guess while we're waiting I''ll tell you what I know about this place from the libraries that sometimes show up... Interested, frack-faces?" Lillith suddenly picked her head up in a giant smile.

Begone!' As the dream kept motioning its self into play, what ever this thing was, it didn't show its self. It sounded like five deep, dark demonic voices were speaking all at once. I, I AM GOD!!!!!!!" - - Auto Merge - - "Oh Hell!!!" Steel Skull had said waking up. he looked around, not surprised where he was.
"I have found that it is usually best to know as much about a foe as possible." Silver sat down and began idly spinning a dagger. "Please, tell us what you know."
steel skull put his book away, and yawned. he walked over to the three other ponies, "So, has anyone else suffered a nightmare while sleeping here?" SSM said lazily and sat down. "because i can tell you right now, that you don't wanna know what i dreamt about."
Midnight eventually arrived with the group later, still very tired for some strange reason. He had awoken, then found himself in this strange place. He also felt heavier for some reason, and felt something very similar to Plague. Nonetheless, he arrived to see Silver and some others he had never met. "Afternoon everypony, and Silver." Midnight spoke. "It seems like I've missed quite alot. I take it that this corruption figure, if not, the god of corruption himself is using us as his playthings? That would explain this voice i keep hearing every now and then." (I woke up, and we're already five pages in. Damn you timezones!)
"It sounded like a speaker. So I believe that's the voice, unless you can hear something I cannot." Midnight replied.
"Hello, Midnight. It's about time you decided to wake up." Silver continued spinning the dagger, completely unperturbed by the fact that an evil, omniscient being was using them for it's own amusement.
"I have no clue, when i was a child this voice would visit my dreams. It would tell me that it was my friend, and i trusted it. when the kingdom alvelair fell, it stopped visiting. But now, it's returned. When it spoke to me, It sounded like five unworldly beings speaking at once. It might have something to do with this place, but yet. this room seems so... familiar now that i look at it more."
"Midnight... corruption level 31%" "And that makes 4... should be any minute now..." The lights flickered out and back on and the door to the concrete room was gone as was the window. The wall they had been on was gone, replaced by a large fancy gate. "Oh look. The library. OFF WE GO!" Lillith charged into the giant room, lit with giant hanging chandeliers. The room was the basic picture of a fanciful library. Lillith's voice echoed from the room "You're gonna want to read some books, they could help your empty skulls!"
"eh, seems resourceful." SSM looked around for a book to read. As he scanned the shelf of "ancient legends" he found one, one that he knew everything about. It was labeled "The Children Of Nothingness: Gods Among Us." "so, Lillith. have you read this one, it looks... new and untouched."
"Please do not read any books you believe you know. You will find yourself severely disappointed at the results." The female voice echoed in the room. Lillith's giggling echoed shortly after. (go ahead. Read. It. I DARE YOU.)
"eh," SSM chucked the book behind him which had made perfect landing in-between two other books, and started looking for a new one. He has read all of them in the past, but, there were two he hadn't read yet. The first one was "The Blackest Demons: Encyclopedia" and the second one he looked at was the one that intrigued him the most. "The Four Rusted Horses: Heroes Of Worlds? this looks interesting." Steel Skull sat down at a table and started reading. There were four legendary beings, born of the ashes of those from the after life. they were brothers, known as The Four Rusted Horses... 'I know i've heard of these guys, but a book about them?' Steel skull's focus went strait to the book, and nothing else.
Midnight just stood in the library, levitating books around and around. Nothing really appealed to him, seeing this as a possible trick by the Corrupter. However, the last thing he wanted was to raise his corruption level. So in the end, he played along with the book routine.
Silver, rapidly growing bored, sighed. "So, this is it, then? Wandering from room to room, waiting for this 'dark god' to decide to claim us?" He snarled. "Not happening. I came here to kill a god, and that's what I intend to do. Lilith, you seem to know quite a bit about this place. Is there anywhere in this maze where the corruption feels... stronger?"
"Everything is a trick, Silver." The girl was suddenly behind him. "The door out of the library is hidden here somewhere... but don't you want to relive an old story from your youth? That was the first thing that got me!" She twirled around Silver, smiling. "Or you could read this..." She handed him a book titled "Serketh's wish." "It's a wonderful story about the one responsible for our entrapment. He's a very compelling god... Isn't that right Sparkles?" She cuddled her toy before wandering over to Midnight.
"ohhh Devon, won't go to heaven, she's just another lost soul about to mine be again, leave her, we will receive her, it is beyond your control, if you'll ever meet again Devon, no longer living, who had been rendered, unwhole, as a child she was taken, and then forsaken, you will remember it all and, let it blow your mind again" Steel Skull read a part of a song inside the book a little loud, just enough for this around him to hear. The book started to glow green, and noticed the same glow on his cutie mark. He looked around, to see if anyone had been watching the weird event. 'do you remember? Great one? the promise that made your brothers turn on you?' Steel could only look at the book with shock, as a little blue and white pony moved across the page. "are... are you talking to me?" 'yes, don't you remember me? i am your guide, sethrai, the angel of love. you have found the book my lor... Oh, you must be his descendant. please forgive ...' "no no no, keep talking!" steel said in a small tone, "what the hell is going on?" 'listen, we don't have any time left, i'll be around. but close the book before SHE comes around.' SSM closed the book quickly, but no one was there. "i must be going crazy..."
"Very crazy, you unstable nutball. That book is completely blank and you're staring at it like it's your life story. Try this!" Lillith laughed at SSM and threw him a book titled "multiverse theory."
Midnight seen Lilith out of the corner of his eye, deciding to allow the books he was levitating return to their original shelves. "Something you require of me? I must point out now that your knowledge of the place is quite impressive. However....Serketh" Midnight said with a small smile on his face, thinking of simply ending this boredom and leaving the place, pulling out his swords slightly before placing them back in their scabbards. "He sounds like a nice guy."
