Something creepy that's happened to me? Well...

Once, I was walking through town on my way home. I live in a small suburban community, and so there's not many people I don't know, or have never seen before. I was walking along, minding my own business, when suddenly, I see a guy ahead of me. This guy, he has the same hair as me, the same clothes, the same movements, hell, he's even the same height. He didn't seem to notice me, and I was at a distance, but dammit, the guy looked just like me. Well, [sarcasm]in my great wisdom[/sarcasm] I decided to follow him. He crossed the street, so I crossed the street, too. He went into McDonalds, and I followed him in. I had seen him walk in the restroom, so I went it not three seconds later, and...he disappeared. Vanished without a trace.

    :omg:

@Zephyr: Made sense until "actually an 8 story tall creature from the paleolithic era, but at least I had closure." Nice story, although you failed to troll using it.

    Eeyup.

    I also remembered something else.

Sometimes I have dreams that if would ever come true they would happen in 2 years and a half. One of them has been accomplished, but I did not reached the other's time.

In one I was at college and got reunited with an old crush of mine, and it was exactly 2 years and a half. But, oh well.

In another one It would be in the middle of 2013, and the world had ended and I was a leader of some survivors.

And there's a veeeery strange dream that does not apply to the pattern above mentioned, but it means a lot for me.

When it started, I was at my room. It wasn't MY room though, but it felt like it inside the dream. As if a future room. Anyway, suddenly I felt a chilling presence, and slowly Death showed itself to me. She fits exactly that "conformed and calm" description of death: She was a tall, dark robbed figure. I did not remember if she had a scythe, but I believe she had. She also had skeleton hands. And yet, her presence did not frighten me. It was calming, almost tranquilizing. It felt right. As if it was my time or something, or I was waiting for her or something (Which we all are doing anyway) But instead of, well, killing me, she just waved me to follow her. She never spoke a word.

We got teletransported to the beginning of a trail or something. Looked like a chinese mountain, those with a great view you see in some awesome temple pictures and all, but it felt like I was still on my city, like she just created that out of nowhere. And thus began the climb.

On the way, people were joining me. I knew all of them. The closer they were to me as a friend, the closer they were to me in the climbing. My best friend was just behind me. I was leading the group, and Death was leading me. She taught us lessons while we climbed, but never spoke a word. Kind of like the Future Spirit in that christmas tale I forgot the name? She gave us images, sounds, all sorts of things, and we learned so much... We all did. At the ending of the climb, suddenly I was the last on the line, and everyone was recieving something from her, as a gift or as a souvenir, or a remainder of what happened. Me and my best friend recieved a ring each, but we do not know what happened to them. Them she gave us a last stare, as if reminding us again that "We shall meet again" (Obviously), and disappeared, along with everything. Then everything blacked out, and INSIDE the dream I woke up inside my room, with the ring on the top of a desk. Then I woke up on reality. (Or not. I must admit that scares me a bit )

Still on that week I had a dream where Death came to me again (only me now though) and killed me temporarily so I could take the form of a ghost to help some friends in need of... Help. Help only a ghost could provide. But that was a short and nebulous dream, and I don't think it even ended.

^Wow, that sounds like an awesome dream full of meaningful stuff to me. Especially the part when the ring is still with you when you 'wake up' intrigues me.

I was doing a graveyard shift at the corner store where I work, sitting at the desk in the office, writing a note to my manager. Suddenly I felt something jerk the back of my chair, and I nearly fell over backwards. Needless to say, I was only one in the store at the time (it was probably 2 or 3 AM). Turns out, there have been stories of the store being haunted for years.

Don't know what I believe on the matter of ghosts, but I don't know what the heck that was. Maybe I was just tired - working nights can play mind tricks on you.

The only creepy stuff to come to mind is the fact that I have deja vu for events I shouldn't have them. For example, I walk into a room that I've never been in, and yet I remember being here. Yet at the same time I know I was never here, but there is this feeling like I was here. My parents explain to me that it's possible I can see the future in my dreams. They believe this because my father has the same experience.

I once creeped myself out for a few days. I knew it was all in my head, but still. I had just finished watching all the Marble Hornets stuff that had been posted by that time, an had also looked at a lot of Slenderman pics and stories. I kept feeling Slenderman everywhere I went that was dark, and looked over my shoulder every now and then. Thinking back on it, that was pretty fun too.

There are various creepypastas about him. He was created on the internet, so it's just a construct made to creep people out.

The thing that creeps me out about him is that he doesn't do anything, ever. He just stands there and everything turns to hell around him. The creepypasta I read but can't find involved Slenderman's presence causing a girl's mother to almost convince the girl to murder her sister against her will (saying what will happen if she doesn't kill her will be much worse). She runs away and tells her father about Slenderman, and he goes out to confront the problem. A few hours later, there's a knock at the door and it's the girl's mother, carrying her father and sisters' heads. The girl asks "Why, mommy?" To which the mother replies, "Because good things don't always happen to good little girls..." At which point, Slenderman crawls out of the fireplace like some kind of spider and the story ends abruptly.

I guess not really creepy but rather really strange.

I was carrying around a lot of money (like 50 euro or something) and went to buy food or something, i dunno. So, there i go, thinking of no evil, when, out of nowhere, the money got lost. I was positive that i had it with me since i way toying around with it at a point in the city, so i felt like i lost it. Obviously, i had a reason to be panicking, but i stayed cool-headed and went back the trajectory i took and looked at the ground to spot the money. Strangely, the money was at home, and my mom was about to give the 50 euro to me to buy food, once i returned back home...

Because of my experiences with Deju vu, I've came up with a silly idea that when we die, our souls are sent back in time to when we are just newborns, and we live that life over again. Our life is a giant loop and we don't even know it!

Of course, it's a silly idea, and I have no proof that it is the case. So it's just silly idea that I play with here or there, but I don't seriously believe.

^Wow, I think about that often. What if our life is just a loop?

    Hmm..Nah.Highly improbable.

    Calculating.. calculating....

    Deja Vu = 1 of 2 things.

    1. Accidental Psychic foresight.
