"Awesome, I heard that place is super expensive at this time of year." Jackpot said, shifting her weight every now and then to adjust to the high heels she wore. She didn't like them, nor did she ever really wear them. But if it was to make the best night of her life come true, she will do everything she can. Even if she fell in a pile of mud or manure, she didn't care. It still would have been a wonderful night. (Time-Skip! Woooosh!)
"Well...I came from an incredibly wealthy family. My brother is a guard in Canterlot and my parents are both entrepreneurs. I leant how to play with cards when I was little and...things took off from there. I began to win poker tournaments, although the working environment wasn't as exciting as you think." Jackpot said as she took another bite of her meal, a simple bowl of pasta. Behind the beauty and expensive clothing, she was really just like Ged. "I went to school with Crimson, we've been best friends since we were both...I dunno....3? Maybe 2? Doesn't matter"
Ged hung on her every word. So much so that he didn't even realize that he had knocked over the ketchup bottle and was getting it all over his arm.
Ged blushed as he thought to himself, Oh no! I hope I didn't mess things up! I'm so dumb! Once clean, Ged composed himself and thanked her. "I'm not much for telling stories but I grew up in Flanksington. My dad was gone a lot playing in his band and my mom worked at the market 12 hours a day. I've played bass for as long as I remember and I met Sticks, Strato and Bone Vox when we were in kindergarten. We used to pick on Rockette's cousin Rockout a lot but since he joined the band, the 5 of us have been pretty tight. That was when we were 8. Anyway, I give guitar and bass lessons and play for Unstable on the weekends. Not a glamorous life but it's what I love and it pays the rent so I can't complain too much." Ged took another sip of wine.
"I never really learn't how to play anything musical, my parents tried to get me the most expensive education that bits can buy. They tried to spoil me, and with good reasons as well." Jackpot tried to get out. "In the end, my parents decided to build a huge resort just outside of Snowville. I went to the nearby school there instead of some hyper-expensive private school in Canterlot, and I lived there for years while my parents owned the resort."
"Oh wow! Did you ever get your parents to let your friends in for free?" Ged dipped a few fries into his mayo/mustard comprised sauce.
"Sure did, they were perfectly fine with the idea. My parents are pretty cool ponies, they aren't really your nasty heartless rich couple. Mom grew up extremely poor and she met Dad at some point. Guess it's something about their backgrounds." Jackpot said before taking a sip of her drink. "But anyway, me and my friends always messed about in the resort. Couple pranks were pulled every now and then, which the maids and butlers always cleaned up. One or two actually encouraged us to have fun: An entire resort was our own personal playground, and we loved it."
"White Mountain Resort. Enormous place, maybe larger then most stadiums. Although they own the place and get money from it, they are busy working on another building. They don't really visit as much anymore." Jackpot told Ged. "You can't miss the place, you can see it for miles. It's where Crim and me were raised, so I can easily give directions and all that. Friendly ponies up there, they give me a discount as well for whatever I need."
"Well," Ged said, swallowing the last bit of his burger, "We're off this weekend and, well, I can't think of anything I'd rather do than spend time with you." (BTW, do you have a drawing of Jackpot?)
Jackpot blushed lightly at Ged. "I...would love to spend time with you." She didn't know if she was taking things to quickly, but she didn't mind. Fast was how she liked things, it was boring to be spending time waiting for the right moment anyway. (I don't have one on me, since I only got a new computer the other day. But I have a description of her if you want it?)
As Ged walked with Jackpot through the park afterward, the crickets struggled to get a chirp in edgewise. He would often lose track of what he was saying as he and the mare of his dreams chattered like old friends with 20 years of catching up to do.
Jackpot could not believe exactly how well tonight was working out. From a single date, this had turned to be one of the best days of her life. The two of the got very well acquainted with each other and pretty soon, the two found themselves in the middle of the park. Underneath them was a bridge that went over a small lake, with the moonlight shining over them and reflecting off the water. You could see your face if you looked into it. The scene was set for a magical moment.
Ged eased his muzzle towards Jackpot's. He couldn't help but glance up to see if she mirrored his motions but before he could get his eyes open, their lips had already met. It was the most passionate kiss they had shared thus far and Ged savored every second of it.
The kiss was absolutely electric. Sensations of passion completely shot through their bodies and the two of them were clouded with love. Even though the kiss actually didn't take much time, time seemed to grind to a halt and seemed like it lasted all of eternity. The two of them both locked tongues before they eventually broke the kiss to gasp for air. After the two took a breath to allow themselves for the moment to sink in, Jackpot suddenly went back to Ged on her own instincts and before Ged knew it, Jackpot was kissing him once more in a deeper romantic way.
Ged couldn't believe it... the mare of his dreams was as into him as he was to her. He tried to speak but Jackpot put her hoof over his mouth and led him to a nearby groundskeeper's shed. The door was unlocked and they quickly darted inside before anypony saw them.
The Next morning At around midday, Jackpot finally returned back to her mansion while Ged went back home. Her mane was all over the place, but she didn't matter. She had the best time of her life last night, and she was more then eager to tell Crimson about it. She walked up the staircase in her mansion and went to her quarters, where she felt her legs wobble like jelly. Once she seen the bed, she fell onto it head first while she remained giddy about everything. She remained on the covers as she looked upwards at the ceiling. It really was the best night of her life.
Ged's situation wasn't much different. He'd not felt that alive since he first played on stage at age 8. He stumbled towards the door and began to turn the knob. "Yo, Ged!" called a familiar voice. "Oh hey, Rockette." "What happened? Your neighbor called and said you never came home." Rockette could see Ged had been up most of the night. "Wait, did... did you get laid?" Ged nodded. "It wasn't just that though. It was the best I've ever felt with a mare. I... OH! I'm sorry. I shouldn't be talking about this. Especially around a lady." Rockette winced a little but chuckled it off.
Jackpot was lucky enough to get some sleep, if not for only a little while, until the doorbell sounded across the mansion. She almost melted into the covers of the bed, everything about her bed seemed to be so warm and cozy. She got up from her bed and trotted downstairs towards the front door. Soon enough, she opened to find Crim in her usual beret and jacket. "Hey Jack! I was just heading to work and wanted to make sure that you made it home last night. How did last night go?" Crimson asked her. Jackpot tried to straighten up her crazy frizzy mane and to at least get herself in some order. "Yeah...*yawn* it was amazing. I've only slept for a couple hours. Me and Ged had dinner together and we went around the park." She replied. Crimson was glad that her best friend was happy, although she was extremely tired and her legs felt like she was gello. "Did...did you two?" Jackpot's face blushed quickly until she was almost as red as a Crimson's coat. "Yes. We slept together." she said hesitantly. Crimson was surprised at the answer, although she had the feeling that she knew it happened all along. She only said something about it to relieve the awkward tension. "Wow...I'm impressed. My hat's off to you."
