Edward and Damien went over to see Jack, slightly embarrassed about the whole thing. There was a brief period of time where things were silent until Jack finally spoke. "So...how the hell did yo-" "Long story, remind me to tell you once we get back to Vegas." Edward shot back at Jack, who was as shocked as he was to see what had happened to Jack. "Your eyes were once blue, what happened? Mutation?" Crystal finally decided to speak with a distinctive southern bell voice, having remained silent during the entire time. "Blood Dust affected him. Mr. Jack overdosed on it in his bed room and fell asleep about two years ago. About two weeks later, he woke up right as rain." "The amount that I took was well above the lethal levels." Jack told the two. "I took a literal gallon, out of a milk jug. I survived somehow. Must have slipped into a coma. Before I fell asleep, I felt normal. When I woke up, I could see just about everything. My vision, senses and overall perception has been vastly improved. However, the side-effects are terrible. It's changed my eye colour and made me sterile, so I can't reproduce through normal methods." "Jesus, your not even human anymore." Damien remarked. "The best damn marksman in California, a living legend in the Rangers, is now a sociopathic superhuman sniper who has severe bloodlust and anger issues." Damien then turned around to look at the others. "He's perfect." All of the three Mockingbirds then laughed with each other as Taylor looked at the group, confused. "Are you all like this?" She said, before sitting down on the road. She didn't even know if there were any more operatives like them. Damien had already told her that two of his really good friends were still active in the NCR Rangers when the Mockingbirds disbanded and became Veteran Rangers, Roger and Ashley. He believed that the two of them actually married, but they haven't been sent to the Mojave yet. Another one of the Mockingbirds, the last operative out of the six, was unknown. Nobody knew if he was still alive, but nothing could stop a man like him. It would be interesting however, but it was a time to head back home to Vegas. If he was alive, he would have caught wind of what was happening in the Mojave.

(ah okay. Just wondered because certain things slip by me and I don't catch onto their meaning. On a further note, you may have noticed that I've tried to make my character's dialogue a bit humorous. Do you think that's good or is it proving more annoying than anything else?) Things hadn't changed much when they gang returned to the Mojave. The legion were still waiting on the other side of the dam for the NCR to make a big slip and fall on their backsides and the NCR were hoping for some kind of miracle to help turn their odds against the Legion. The gang made their way to the lucky 38 casino to show Jack and Crystal the operation and to plan their next move. Will: here it is! This is where we're going to free new Vegas!

While he looked around the casino, and followed up to the penthouse to be introduced to Yes-Man, he looked out the window to see the Dam, along with the Fort on the other side. "So, Caesars in that tent. Wonder why you haven't put a bullet in him yet" Jack said to the group, which Taylor quickly interrupted him. "Trust me, I've been trying to stop Damien every chance I could get. It's hard to control him once the Legion comes to his mind." "I can understand why. He told me of what happened to his wife on his way back, such a shame." Jack said before noticing Crystal holding a cocktail in one hand with a dizzy expression on her face. Her face was positively flushed as well, she had clearly been drinking. The question was, how drunk could she get before she passed out? "You will not *hic* believe where *hic* I've been..."
Jenny: hey, where's our drinks?! D: Yes man: Hi there! I just thought I'd let you know that a couple of messages have come through afor you guys. Would you like me to read them for you?
"Patch it through" Edward called out, although noticing Jack smirk to himself out of the corner of his eye. Sometimes, he wondered what the hell went through the head of his.
Yes man: alright. This is the first message sent to you a day after you left. The first holotape message began to play in a feminine voice "To our dear friends Will, Jenny, Abbey and John. We are in desperate need of your assistance. The situation with the NCR is getting too hot for us to handle and we need your skills to help us resolve this issue without bloodshed. I hope by the time you recieve this that it's not too late. Yours truly, Asa-shan" Yes Man: and that's the end of the transmission! Would you like me to delete it or mark it as spam?
"That was sent at least a month ago. I dunno if the situation is still on-going." Damien told Yes-Man. "If it is, then we need to act. Bloodshed isn't a good alternative." "Really Damien?" Jack said out loud. "Coming from the same man who hunted the Legion for four and a half years, assassinate three quarters of their command structure alongside thousands of Legionaries, burnt down or destroyed entire slaver camps and fought a clone of a 12ft tall power armoured Super Mutant at 15 with a High Frequency Blade?" The room was silent for a moment before Jack decided to ease the tension. "Well ****, that's enough motivation for me to get involved with this."
Jenny: We'd better move out fast! Will: wait, what about the other message? It could be as equally important. Jenny: Uhh okay. uhmm... how about a few of us stay behind to hear the message and if it's not important they join us at Vault 11? Will: That'll work. Abbey, would you mind..? Abbey: Uggghhhh.... fine.
"Yes-Man, please play the next message?" Taylor asked while Damien and Jack would arm themselves to head to Vault 11, taking the elevator to the Presidential Suite where Damien had converted one room into a small armoury. Edward would remain behind for the second message with Taylor.
Yes-man: Sure thing! Jenny, Will and Barbara took the lift along with Jack and Damien, after getting a few things together the group set out for Vault 11. (actually, can we do the vault 11 bit first, then the bit with the other message after? I've kinda lost interest in doing the latter at the moment and need to get my Crim & HMB RP mojo a goin' again.)
(Okie Dokie!) Vault 11 soon came into the sights of the group, surprisingly isolated from the rest of the wasteland. They were just outside of the door that led into the vault itself, just going over some bits of information before finally heading in.
A growling deep voice Called out from a speaker above the entrance of the Vault "who goes there?" Will: You called for some radroach exterminators? Come on Micheal your scout guys should have told you we were on our way "Can't be too careful. You might've just been passing by and instead some wanderers or NCR could've arrived here." At that moment the vault door began to slide open, revealing the main entrance to Vault 11. The entrance to the vault was still rusted from years of disuse but it was far cleaner and there were signs that the vault was being restored.
Damien entered the vault first, only remembering one other time that he went in a spotless vault. Jack didn't care though, he just walked in quietly although he wore his mask. He always did considering its perks of essentially being completely bulletproof.
As the group walked in they were greeted by individuals holding chinese assault rifles and a tall muscular individual wearing leather armor leaning over the metal rail to the right of where they entered. The big guy was Micheal, part of the vault's authority on security. As they came closer to the individuals, Damien and Jack noticed that they had rather odd features. Features like large deathclaw-like feet, claws instead of nails on their hands, deathclaw like skin, glowing yellow eyes and sharp teeth on those who were bearing them to impose a sense of authority on Damien and Jack. Micheal: Hey who are those two there? Will: don't worry, they're with us. Micheal: Fine, they cause trouble though and they'll have to answer to the Vault. Will: believe us. they won't Micheal: alright. Well, how about you introduce yourselves strangers.
"Damien Winters, former Mockingbird captain in the NCR Rangers. My friend next to me is Jack Harper, former operative. We have no ties to the Republic at all if that's what you are asking." Damien introduced, not even flinching at the appearance of the sight before him. The two were essentially fearless, the reasons being their two vastly different upbringings. If Taylor came with them, then it might have scared her. She would have been terrified, then running over the scientific side of things like the egghead she was.
Micheal: Well, I didn't know you were formerly with the republic before you said. But meh, it doesn't matter. No-one from the NCR would be dumb enough to come here and admit it. Anyways, i'd better take you to to Asa. (Hits the switch to close the vault) follow me.
"Lead the way" Jack said underneath his mask, his voice deep and gravelly as always. Soon, the two of them were taken down into the Vault and taken to Asa.
Micheal takes the group deep into the bowels of the vault. On the way down the group passes various rooms with more anthromorphic deathclaw like creatures going about their day. Part of the daily routine was cleaning up & restoring the vault, because restoring it was seen as mutually beneficial for everyone. Michael: here we are. Asa! Jenny and Will are here! (Turns to face the group) see you guys later. (Michael then leaves) Jenny: Bye Mikki :3 Asa: Barb! Jenny! Will! Boy am I glad you guys are here- wait who're these two? Barbara: friends of ours. That one's an escaped mental patient and the other one is Jack XD
