"I have no idea just yet" Rene replied to Adrian. "But if the Fuhrer wishes to speak to me about it, then I can only assume that it must be of high importance." The two SS officers and Nadja walked into the airport, where they soon spotted Sebastian and Otto in the distance.
As the trio met the other two, Sebastian could not help but inquire to Rene. "Who exactly is the girl? I was never told she'd be joining us." ___________________________________________________________________ Antoinette Bellerose was closing up her theatre and restaurant, her friend Andre helping her with the marquee outside. Antoinette was very fine woman, with short, platinum hair, fair skin, and ruby red lips. She wore black formal-wear that night, hearing rumors about in Germany of the Nazis. Andre was a large man, standing somewhat over seven feet tall, with long, curly, black, greasy hair and black eyes, dark skin, wearing a light blue shirt with rolled up sleeves, brown trousers, and a dark brown apron. He was Antoinette's escort, going wherever she went. She was a mistress type person, manipulative and controlling. Her cousin, a German by the name of Hans Lieber, was a high member in the Nazi party, who was in league with Albert Speer with architecture. He had been able to convince Hitler to attend Antoinette's restaurant-theatre, with a score of plenty of other officials sometime soon after the parade in Austria...
"Nadja? She's a good friend of ours, she is with me and Adrian." Rene replied before looking over at her and giving her a small smile that seemed to say that 'everything is alright' before turning back at the two men. "Anything wrong about that ?"
Sebastian maintained his stern face. "No. I was just... wondering." The crowd was loud, and Adrian's car was two cars just behind the fuhrer's. The crowd seemed wild at the arrival of Adolf Hitler. Of course, odd looks were thrown towards Adrian, but they seemed to recognize him for who he was. Sebastian was the driver, Otto in the passenger's seat, and Adrian and Rene were in the back. Nadja was walking Katy through the crowd, following their car from a distance. Adrian's massive shadow passed the crowd, himself a giant mass of black, as he waved his hands at his waist to Rene. Isn't it beautiful? The masses are on our side, and no one can stop up. And who would? The Russians? It's truly delightful...
"It truly is" Rene replied. "The wonder of having the masses on our side, it's beautiful. I doubt that the Russians would be wise enough to attempt to stop our newly reborn Germany."
(Feel free to add some stuff. You know, like when we were doing Fatherland. You can also steer some of the other OCs if you want.) The Biergarten was crowded with SS personnel, and there was good cheer all around. Adrian was chugging by the gallons, his mask only pulled up to reveal just his mouth, with what could be seen, inhumanely pale skin, and it seemed that part of his lips had melted together, a hole in his cheek to reveal his strangely sharply pointed teeth, but no one else seemed to notice, probably because they were all drinking. Despite the great amounts of beer he practically inhaled, he seemed perfectly sober. Nadja was sitting with Katy next to him. In her mind, Nadja wanted to speak with Rene, but she was too shy to strike up a conversation...
Eventually, Rene came over to Nadja after getting himself his own glass of Hohler as he walked across a long path. Rene rarely drunk alcohol and only did so at special occasions. He seemed to be having a good time, and went over to Nadja while he was returning to his seat. "Ah, Nadja! Just the women that I came to see." Rene spoke, being perfectly sober despite already drinking multiple custom shots of alcohol. "Are you having a good time?" (I'm planning to do something like that. Are we following a realistic timeline for this or is there a point of divergence so that we can establish an entirely new universe. I wrote that in the Fatherland RP, the point of divergence was that Hermann Goring died in 1938. In the days following his death Himmler and Goebbles all vied for the vacant position of Reichsmarschall, but Hitler surprised everyone by appointing Speer to the role, who would double the war production amongst other things.)
(I think that would work. Inglorius Basterds style?) "Quite. It seems like a jolly atmosphere at the moment..." She spoke. She glanced towards Adrian for a moment. She chuckled, turning back to Rene, a small shot of whiskey in her hand. "He can certainly hold his own. He always seems so serious, and yet, so graceful. Have you heard of his story? I don't think he's all too well with too many people knowing him, but you and him seem to be such good friends. Tell me, do you know?"
Rene sighed for a moment. "He's only ever told me once, and even then, he doesn't like talking about it. While I know the story, I don't believe that I'm at liberty to inform you what happened. Perhaps he might tell you one night if you do not know what has occurred to him during his childhood. I can tell you one thing now, there is a reason he wears the mask."
She smirked again. "Oh, he told me. I just wanted to know if you knew. The only one in that car who didn't know was the car. That's why those other two were there. We all know him. We've all got our stories. My mother died after I was born, and my dad has raised my since. My poor father. He was in the Great War, you know. Sebastian never had parents, but was raised by his adopted uncle. And Otto was born to a woman in a mental institute, and grew up homeless. That's why he's so fat now, because he keeps eating like it's his last day." She paused for a moment, and sighed. "What about you?"
"Well, me and my family grew up in Nuremberg. My father fought in the Great War but he lost a leg from the fighting, and my mother doesn't particularly have an interesting history until after the Great War when she became a nurse. We were a poor family, teetering on the verge of homelessness since democracy failed in Germany, then the depression hit and we lost everything we had. Me and my family were fanatical followers of the Fuhrer back in the 1920's, my father was one of the earliest party members and actually was there during the Beer Hall Putsch in 23'. Our family lived out on the streets for a few weeks until some members of the party helped us get back onto our feet due to our loyalty. My parents would have died was it not for the Reich" Rene replied. "I joined the SS the moment I could out of pride for Germany in 33, and I'm now one of the most powerful people in the entire organization alongside Adrian. The Fuhrer saved me, and I've dedicated my entire life to him and for the Reich."
Otto had suddenly appeared in front of the rest of the group, coming from a discussion that had just dispersed. "Did you hear? We will be previewing a new movie approved by Himmler, and the Fuhrer himself is coming! It will be in France, in about a week!"
Sebastian grumbled, known for being highly lacking in any sort of humor. "We are all going. We'll be expected there, and I highly doubt any of us are going to miss it...." Otto resumed. "I don't know what it is we'll be seeing yet, but it will definitely be a very good movie. I mean, if the Fuhrer and the others in his inner circle are going... you know?" Adrian had swiveled in his seat, finishing a massive stein glass of beer in a short time, than giving a thumbs up after quickly pulling his mask down, ensuring his face remained hidden with all measures.
Rene nodded. "I wouldn't miss this movie for the world. I'm just glad that we can all be with one another, I seldom find times like these to just relax after work." Rene then looked at his fellow officers on his table with a smile on his face. "I think this is the start to something special." (Time-skip to the cinema ?)
(Sure!) Adrian had driven quite a distance, coming from his castle in Berchtesgaden. Katy was being watched by Nadja and her father, and he had just entered France in his car. He was preparing to meet up with Rene at a restaurant close to the theatre. He pulled up into the driveway, and entered. It was not the first time he had been in this place; He had been here many times from matters of business in France since the German invasion. Now, there he stood in the doorway, leaning and moving sideways as to fit through the door. He was lead by a young man towards a private room, one that suited his preferences. It was dark, very dark, save for candles, and very cold. He sat down on a two-seater leather couch, which, of course, he completely filled himself. He waited for a moment, and a waiter came in, a French-man with a clean-shaven head. He spoke in fluent German. "I'd assume the usual, Herr Vogelscheuche?" The giant silhouette merely nodded, and the waiter left him in the chilling shadows.....
The sound of a car had pulled up near the restaurant after a brief moment, Rene took off his hat as he was greeted by the waiters of the restaurant, all of them switching to fluent German. Once his hat was off to reveal his blonde hair that went down half way to his neck, two other waiters instantly came to him as they removed his coat. It wasn't hard to find Adrian as he went over and took a seat across from him.
The giant acknowledged his friends arrival, waving his hands near the candle light. I hope you don't mind the conditions of the room. I like it like this. He waited for a moment as the waiter came back in. "Herr Schneider! It is good to see you, again. It's been quite a while. What would you like?"
"I'll take the usual, just some Buletten with some Eierkutchen on the side, thank you." Rene responded before looking at Adrian, answering his question from before. "It's alright, I don't mind."
The darkness seemed calm, the dim light of the candles flickering. It was not too long before multiple plated were set down, and wine and glasses were left on the table. Adrian gestured at one of the glasses after pouring his own bit of alcohol.
