Once the food was placed down on the table, Rene took his first sip of wine once he poured himself some. He looked back out at the movie, which was due to start in about an hour. He wasn't sure why, but he had a bad feeling about something that he couldn't be sure of. Some sixth sense that he had which greatly enhanced his perception. Whenever he felt this sixth sense, he could literally feel it inside of his head. "I have a bad feeling about this movie." Rene began
Adrian slowly took off his mask, but the darkness merely shadowed his face, only the pale light reaching his disfigured and mutilated mouth, the shark-like teeth glistening. He waved his left hand as he ate with his right, holding a napkin with his fork to covered his mouth as he chewed. Some of the others as well. At least, the ones that are smart. We begin suspecting things, as to ensure our survival. I think we should get to know the theatre. We should definitely find out who owns it in the first place. Max Weinberg looked upon the theatre. The Jewish man was waiting for a friend to show up. In his mind, he could only think about how that soon, he could end this entire war. A Jew in France? It seemed impossible for him to get anywhere, especially since how, specifically here, the Nazis were crawling all over the place. He rubbed his stubbly chin as his black eyes looked over his environment. His grey trench-coat swayed in the wind as he peered out from above a newspaper. He was wearing all grey. Grey trousers, grey turtleneck, grey scarf, grey shoes, even a grey fedora perched upon his head, trying to maintain a low-profile in such dreary weather... (Now, friend, take charge... take charge and become another person! :| )
(Sir, yes Sir) Matilda Barnhill was another lonely girl who spent her time in the Parisian night. She wore a deep red winter coat over her dark colored clothing and wore a ruby necklace around her neck, a gift from her great grandfather who fought in the Boer War. Her green colored eyes matched her curly brown hair and she wore a smile on her face. . Matilda wore a red handbag over her and was considered beautiful, even by the French and Germans in the city. Living in Paris for most of her life had it's perks, with Matilda becoming fluent in French and English while being able to speak German with an impressive skill. She tried to find shelter as the rain poured down across the city. It was a dark and stormy night, the cold feeling of the wind passing along the city sending chills down the spines of anyone in the city. It seemed fitting for the greatest assassination attempt of all time was going to occur to her very eyes
It was not too long before the Jew found himself by Matilda. Max spoke, his voice light but aged. "It's almost time. Andre's inside. He'll help us in. We must go to the back of the theatre." Adrian and Rene had just came into the entrance of the theatre house, being met by friends in the SS, though Rene more warmly than Adrian. Albert Speer and Arthur Grieser had met the two, Grieser speaking first. "How good of you both to join us at the theatre." He went up to Rene first. "Rene Schneider! I've heard good things about you. You have a reputation of learning quickly. It's men like you that we need!" Then he went to Adrian, his voice deepening to playfully reflect how ominous Adrian's very presence was. "And you are most certainly Adrian Vogelscheuche! They call you the Boogeyman, and for good reason! That mask could give even the Russians the chills. You're size, too. Big man!" And with that, he did what seemed to be an attempt to pat him on the shoulders, though he could only reach the large man's chest...
"Thank you. It's a pleasure to attend to premiere tonight, Heer Speer." Rene replied politely before his expression seemed to change. "Although, I'm getting some unnatural vibes about tonight. It feels like something bad could occur, and of course, me and Adrian want to ensure your safety and the safety of others."
Underneath the feet of the Nazis, the large man known as Andre held a lantern to show the way before Matilda and Max. This was all unbeknownst to Antoinette, who was dressed in a red dress, mingling with the others in the theatre. Hitler and some of his most trusted men were in the upper balcony, enjoying a private dinner as they waited. Adrian looked about, but something tickled his nose, a smell of a sort, though he could not place what it was.....
Rene noticed the sudden movement of Adrian's nose and looked at him. "You smell it as well?" The handsome SS officer then looked around and with an expression of concern, alarm bells suddenly began to ring in his mind. He turned around and looked at the giant next to him. "I don't like this at all, this entire night is a trap. We might need to order an evacuation, but nobody would believe us. As much as this could be a false alarm, I don't want to take any chances. Adrian, you know what to do." He then looked at Speer. "Herr Speer, come with me please." Speer's face turned pale white as he nodded before following Rene outside of the cinema. ---------------------------------------- Matilda and Max followed Andre through the dark tunnels underneath the cinema. They had no time to waste, and one false move could potentially result in the end of their lives. They had one shot at this. If successful, they could potentially prevent another great war. What they didn't realize however, was the horrors of the near future of what was about to happen.
Adrian tried pulling an emergency door, but it appeared stuck, as was every door leading outside. Underneath, Max lined sticks of dynamite along the wall. Antoinette appeared flustered as she tried to get to the Fuhrer's door, but found it stuck as well. Slamming her fists on the door she yelled. "Mein Fuhrer! Mein Fuhrer! You must get out! We are under attack!" There slams against the door in response, even several shots fired off, but to no avail. Grieser had rushed over to the giant, panting somewhat. "Every door is stuck. We must hurry! I smell flame!" As it was, a fire had started on the theatre curtain in the dark room. Down below Max could only inquire. "What's that smell?" Andre answered. "I started a flame upstairs." Max had clicked a watch. "We should get out. Now." The Jew looked at Matilda. "I'll be seeing you later. Up above, you'll see a brown red car. The driver is a good friend of mine. He'll take you to his house, where you'll be safe, okay?"
Matilda nodded before rushing out towards the exit. She found the car without any troubles and got in, just as the cinema went up in flames. -------------------------------------- "No.....No....NO....NO!" Rene said as he went towards the door of the Fuhrer and punched the hot door as hard as he could with no success. Everybody inside of the theater itself was meeting a grizzly fate, including the man who had saved him when he was younger. Rene had tears in his eyes as he could picture the horrors and screams from everybody inside. The man that had saved him and basically worshiped as a hero was meeting a fate that didn't belong to him. He backed away slowly as the screaming died down, Rene in a state of total shock. He looked around at Adrian and Speer while his mind was in a daze, he still had a job to do. "We need to get out of here, NOW!" Rene replied before heading over towards the emergency door and did was Adrian tried before. Instead of hitting the door, he kicked through the display glass at the entrance of the building where it soon broke. He didn't care about injury anymore, he only wanted to protect the ones he called family. Rene signaled to Adrian to take Speer and any of the survivors in the lobby through the makeshift escape route as people began to panic in the street.
Adrian hand gestured to Grieser for a moment, who nodded and led the others out. He quickly went upstairs, finding Antoinette, who had gasped at the menacing figure, though the giant did not seem to acknowledge her. He closed his fist and brutally took down the heavy metal door using his great strength, only to find a blazing fire in his path: The inner circle was dead. He looked, paused, dazed and confused, but quickly went down. He waved his hand at Rene. They are dead. All of them. Right now the others are scouring the streets for anyone who are close enough. We will kill whoever did this. The only question is... what will we do now? (By the way, did you get my CS for your new RP? You're message box seems to be full, so that's why I'm telling you this way.)
Rene remained quiet for a moment before looking at Adrian. "We'll deal with the murders once Germany is lead back in the right direction. With most of it's leadership being killed, we need to be set back onto the path of recovery. But we can't stop there." Rene placed a hand onto the giants shoulder, just reaching even on the tips of his toes. "We might need to fill in these roles with a heavy heart, nobody but us would be able to properly transform the Reich into the beacon of hope that it can truly become. A nation of strength, discipline and truth. That's what we are. The only question is, do we need to do this?" Speer walked up to Rene and Adrian and looked at the both of them. "I'll follow the both of you with all my mind, and body if necessary." (Yeah, you're accepted. You always seem to play as the same style of character though, but its what you are good at. I'm not complaining.)
(Time skip! ) After several weeks, the world had changed drastically. After a single, yet failed, Russian attack on the eastern front on an unmoving Germany, Joseph Stalin had been assassinated by an unknown assailant, and had been replaced by the now-formerly captain of the Soviet military intelligence service, Viktor Suvorov. Upon this, an uprising in northern Russia took place, so massive that it split Russia in two, with the neutral northern area now capitalizing Arkhangelsk, and using several major cities as military compounds. Italy and Spain had formed an alliance and had taken over a large portion of North Africa, and Britain had surrendered from the massive military pressure Germany had put it under. Viktor Suvorov was also thinking of making a new treaty with Germany, and new negotiations were being made. The Japanese were becoming friendlier towards Germany, and were preparing new meetings as to become more social with each other, whilst Japan's military was focusing on bombarding America's western coast. The low, thunderous sound of the giant motorcycle softly revved throughout the rainy streets of Paris, near the Theatre where the mysterious fire had occurred a few weeks ago. Adrian had established two new sections of the SS, one dedicated to highly advanced technology meant specifically military purposes, the Erweiterte Wissenschaft Abteilung, (SSEWA) as well as founding and heading a small group of highly elite, well trained elite soldiers known simply as the Hessians. But now he was here, close to the restaurant he was accustomed to.....
With his uncanny charisma and his almost breathtaking intelligence, Rene declared himself as the newest Führer while he appointed Speer as his minister of armament. While Speer had only been Hitler's architect only a couple of weeks ago, he'd quickly been given total freedom over his actions in his newest role as long as they benefited Germany in the long run. By the years end, Speer tripled the war production and construction efforts. While Rene instantly made Adrian the Reichsführer of the Schutzstaffel, he'd felt that this role would ultimately benefit his giant friend the most. Alongside with the already breathtaking technological process that was occurring within the Erweiterte Wissenschaft Abteilung, Rene described them as "Performing Miracles." With life overall improving across the Reich, Rene was seen as a hero on the night of the cinema disaster and quickly filled in the gap in popularity between him and Hitler. Pretty soon, Rene was seen as vastly superior to Hitler in almost every single way. Switzerland was to be expecting an election within the next few months to decide if it was to be absorbed into the Reich or to maintain it's independence. Rene's time was currently focused onto meeting with Oswald Mosley, the two of them busy between talks of replacing the system in Britain with a Fascist government if the current government was to collapse. With Rene's multilingual capabilities in fluent English, the two spoke for hours and hours. A war against England, despite terms of surrender, would soon be inevitable as long as their current government existed. After the talks with Mosley, Rene made the trip to Paris after being surrounded by tons of SS officers upon his arrival to head back to the cafe where it all began. He looked at the remains of the cinema, where it all began for him and where it ended for Hitler. He went back to the restaurant for one final meal before deciding to head back to Germany.
Adrian was sitting in his private room. which he made clear to the staff that Rene was very welcome to join. His mask was halfway off, only the lower half of his distorted mouth showing, but barely, as he covered it somewhat with his gloved hand, though in a way that made it seem that he was merely rubbing his chin as he drank tea and read the newspapers. Though he was the new Reichsfuhrer, he did not part with his uniform, and certainly did not abandon the chance to take part of the field action. Adrian had diminished the numbers of the SS, merging the Waffen with the Wermacht along with other SS field military sects. He turned the SS into what he believed it should have been: The elite, most intimidating men, more commanding and dominating as well as higher ranking, the main point in making them highly feared quite similar to the Gestapo, and increasing the Wermacht by a large amount. As for the Gestapo themselves, they were the ones that changed the least, though now they were also in charge of dispatching possible traitors or political threats inside the empire. Adrian sat there, his sleek black uniform well polished and eerily sinister.
Rene joined with Adrian while his guards were allowed to relax in the restaurant, although they still had to keep alert. Rene had a document in his left hand that he had to give Adrian, only the two of them could read it, and it had to be destroyed immediately after. Rene had spent plenty of time onto this plan, but he was in no rush to commence the plan. Once Rene sat down, he pushed the document slightly towards Adrian. "I've been thinking about this for a while, but I'm sure we would be able to accomplish this." He said before looking unto the document. "This document contains plans to invade and incorporate Poland into the Reich, with invasion plans being drawn up to become fully operational as early as September next year. Statistics conclude that under our current strength, Germany has a 75.34% chance of successful invasion with their military lasting as long as a week. However, I suggest we give this proposal time so that our military structure and all technological progress in that sector is fully implemented. We pull this off correctly, and we can take the entire country within a couple of Annexation is also possible, but we would expect fierce resistance in all sectors, especially civilian. Hitler wanted the 'living space' that he believed should be ours, so why don't we take one step towards his dream of a better Germany?" "Oh, and one other thing. We need to deal with the United Kingdom if they retaliate."
The giant carefully opened the doctrine, examining it with unseen eyes. He closed not too long after, his Eidetic memory fully capable of remembering every exact detail on those papers. He removed a glove, a pale, leathery hand acquiring the documents and placing it over the candle. He let it it burn, even to his hand, for pain was nothing to him. After a moment, he extinguished the flame by crushing it in his large palm, and letting the ashes onto a napkin. He waved his hands close to his body, directed at his friend. I think we both remember Dachau. Perhaps more of such similar things would be needed. The "Final Solution". One the eve of September we should invade Poland, and likely put shock troop out front. New Stormtroopers. After we take Poland I shall have several concentrated areas for the Untermensch, serving as ways to root out who can be useful and who shall be... put down. Of course, we should also speak with Russia on this part, seeing as how they are also interested in Poland. Perhaps a pact could be created? I'd replace Ribbentrop if I were you, though. He wasn't helpful the first time we tried to invite Britain to be allies. Of course, I'll also have the EWA cooperate with the directors of the camps and ghettos work on some new programs I've been working on with them: Human experimentation. It could prove quite useful in the future, and it should be quite delightful. However, all of this should remain quiet. Hush hush, you know? I don't think the masses would be too appealed to that, and we can all agree on one thing - It's all about the masses.....
Rene nodded in agreement with his giant friend. "I'm sure that Suvorov would be pleased with a pact for Poland. I agree with Ribbentrop though, his failure in negotiations and his apparent lack of trust in me nor the empire has now marked him for death. I'd perform the act myself in order to send the message." "Now... this 'Final Solution' would be inevitable, regardless if it took place a week from now or even a thousand years from now. The Untermensch are only really hindering the process of what could benefit Germany and all of Europe in the future. The key to success for a new world lies in the symphony of war and the voices of anyone that might be of use to us. Another Great War will occur soon, my brother. A war that we are confident that we are not only going to emerge victorious, but the results shall be far more permanent to the enemies of a free Europe. Human Experimentation could be an interesting concept, although I'd prefer inferiors to be the ones experimented on. Through vermin like those, we can fill the mantle between man and god....yes, I see it now." Rene also handed over another set of documents, except that these were of a different sort. Scientific methods, instructions and schematics for two super-weapons, devised from the brilliant mind of Rene himself. One appeared to be a nuclear bomb, a bomb powerful enough to not only win and stop any future wars out of fear, but effectively destroy entire nations like a hammer falling upon them. A 550 megaton fission bomb, capable of totally obliterating anything within 200 miles from ground zero while having hyper lethal, but not permanent, amounts of radiation that would last for as long as three months before completely vanishing from the face of the earth. It even contained a scenario of its effects if it was detonated in three different American cities, scientific facts and all. From collateral damage, death-toll, PSI readings, fallout effects, even time of detonation and the weather. It was the weapon of a god, and despite only being inside of the mind of a charismatic yet genius dictator, this weapon scared the hell out of anyone insane enough to build this. The other weapon involved the power of a nuclear weapon yet absolutely none of the fallout. A rod of tungsten of enormous size being dropped from space with pinpoint precision, where gravity turned it into a powerful weapon. The highest part of its fear factor is not the speed and power which it travels at and contained, but one single thought. It can't be stopped. Once it was heading towards earth, it was already too late. The only problem with the weapon was that was orbital, and humanity hasn't turned towards the stars just yet. It was decades ahead of its time, but the idea was there. "Don't burn these ones..." Rene told Adrian. "You might like these..."
I might. The giant signed in response. But I think one would best save these unless most necessary. Until the time is right, bloodshed is exactly what the masses want, even if they don't know it... He pocketed the papers, and drank his tea. The old man was Max's father. He had taken the girl in with him as refuge in Warsaw. His name was Edward, and of course, like his son, was a Jew. He had heard of the recent happenings in Germany, and becoming more and more fearful every day. This new Fuhrer was something different, more aggressive and dangerous. The rumors were worse: A small group of men lead by a giant, known only as the Hessians lurked deep within the shadows, waiting to pounce on their prey with the utmost secrecy, causing death and vanishing acts within and outside of the Reich. The Gestapo were almost the same, arranging the disappearance of anyone the invisible men deemed unfit to remain. Currently, Max was out, and the father constantly feared for his sometimes reckless son. He had already given him a piece of his mind before he had to let him go to France. Now he had this girl to take care of, and deep inside his mind, he thought he could make up for the past by ensuring her complete safety...
Malinda rested inside of the home of Edward, she had been finally getting the rest from having been chased by Germans for many miles. With the Hessians being a now dangerous reality as they hid in the shadows, the woman was tired and restless. She had to figure out a way to get to safety, wherever that may be. (Sorry for the short post, had no idea what to post)
(No problem. Btw, you should check out my new RP idea in the IC forum! ) Oymyakon, Russia. Adrian had traveled here with several handpicked men from the Hessians to be administered as his apprentices. This new head of the Soviet Union had allowed him here, primarily because he was hired to train what remained of the KGB. Adrian agreed, hoping that this would bring the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany together at last. He envisioned a great empire forged of steel, and with the two Socialist countries united, it would be one great step towards a grand future. They had based themselves in the coldest point in the world, and from this, they would train in an old castle, long abandoned. Under Adrian's supervision, the KGB agents and the Hessians, now equivalent of each other from both countries, would ultimately form the giant's legacy. It would be several weeks before he returned to Germany, but he would hope he would at least hear from his old friend, be it letter, or most optimistically, Rene would visit him. Adrian took pride in his work, and with someone seeing it, would be quite satisfied...
