Thalia raised her hands and slippery, playful streams of darkness flew from her palms. She conducted with her hands like orchestrating music, and the shadows danced accordingly. They flew to the two men, and wrapped tightly around their hands that were holding the weapons. "Really, now." she chided, forcing the hands to lower. "Is that any way to speak to strangers? Why, you've just met, and already you are at each other's throats." She shook her head. "I suppose that is the norm nowadays, but I do wish that people would remain open to etiquette like they did in the old days."
"Ohhoho! Really now?" I asked squeezing my fists together, what I was doin was simple, create an electric current through the shadows to their possessor. And it worked, the Lightening Gauntlets had created a current strong enough to where they would arrive to the user in an approximate four seconds, damn I'm smart. As the electric current built up more and more the shadows around my arm felt like they were loosened, and in a matter of time they did. I was released, electricity can create light, for which shadows are weak against BUT, had she been able to use darkness would I hadn't have been able to escape. I as I dropped to the ground, I launched my self towards her, preparing for a Lightening Pulse, a move strong enough to literally light you on fire.
Thalia laughed lightly. "Must everything be a battle?" She sidestepped, allowing the barreling mass of electricity to pass by her, and crash into a tree. "Really, now." she said, pulling the shadows closer to her, not in a combative pose, but more of an instinctual way. "I comment on your immediate reaction towards violence when greeting a stranger, and you attack me. Ironic, no? Perhaps think before you act. Allow the words to register within your brain. You'll get farther in life that way." She shook her head in disapproval. "Unfortunately, everyone seems to be reading from the same book nowadays."
I missed, but swiftly turned as I took my last step into the tree and punched her in the back, sending jolts of electricity through her body. This would cause pain, "You should learn to keep your mouth shut." I then concentrated on my right hand, using the electricity to create a lighting like spear. I then threw it full force at the woman.
She smiled coyly, the punch causing her absolutely no discomfort. "Why do you attack? I have been nothing but polite, and besides, you are making yourself seem idiotic, which I do not believe you are." She dodged the spear with ease, being lifted off the ground by the shadow."Violence isn't always evil. What's evil is the infatuation with violence." she quoted.
"Look lady, I am here to do my job and your in the way-" An arrow went zooming past I head, hitting the tree behind. I looked at the top of a large rock to see someone I had no affection for, a great competitor in bounty hunting, "TriPoint." I felt very tense, not from the chick, but from the man that stood strong and tall, this was not good. This man was a higher rank than I, so why would he be here? "Blade, its been far too long, and I see you brought some snacks." The man said as he reloaded his crossbow. "Why are you here Tri?" I asked in a deep and serious tone, sweat began to form on the back of my neck. "I was sent to, oh ow should I put it, "get you out of the way," and to bring that slaver back for his death sentence." It took me a moment, but then I relized who the contractor was that hired me, he hired TriPoint, "Thats right, you still work for Nexis, don't you?" "Yes I do," he said as he casted an enchantment on his next arrow, allowing a blue and white glow to take its color, "There are those who knew this man never died, and we are hunting for Game. If had only joined us in the first place might you have found greater rich's beyond all imagination, but," He pointed the weapon at me, oh hell, "You threw that away." he shot the arrow as I charged up my Gauntlets, I charged, the arrow missed. Once the arrow had made contact with an object it resulted in an explosion of light.
Thalia blocked herself with a shield of dark when the light exploded. "I've decided that I don't like this guy." she said. "Need help killing him?"
Nissa heard the sounds of a battle not too far away. She left a giant doll all alone, to see what was going on. Nissa stayed in the tree line, watched part of the action and listened to the conversation. Royal elven circlet on her forehead and airs of a royal, Nissa stepped out of the trees. "Silence!" Her voice thundered. "TriPoint, return to Cry- I mean Nexis.Now is not the time nor place. You are even outnumbered."
I saw him laugh like a maniac, I would have took this girls offer in helping me, but I shook my head. TriPoint pulled out what looked like a giant shurriken, "I may be outnumbered, but who ever said I was out powered-" "TriPoint!" A man ran throughout eh forest, "We need to go! Nexis has a mission for us!" "Damnit, sorry ladies, but it seems we'll fight another time. Warden, Warp Crystal Now!" I saw a huge flash of light, and like that they had disappeared, "Son of a [bleep]."
Thangurdaer knelt in front of the rightful queen. "Your Highness." He looked at ground and not at her. "Thank you for stepping in when you did. I am not sure if we met before. I am Thangurdaer or Thangur for short. I once was Nexis' master slaver of the mines. Overlooking all the slaves and Junior slavers and slavers. I was also almost offered the throne to rule alongside her. Though I faked my demise before she could inform me of it."
Suddenly, the tall man appeared behind Thangurdaer, his sickle pulled out with on hand, ready to strike, the other hand with the bladed fingers pointing at the back of the other elf's neck. The porcelain baby-faced mask, dirtied and with what seemed like a broken jaw, peered from the dark hood of the black cloak. At first the man was silent, but he whispered a single word in a harsh, low, and whispery voice: "Traitor..."
Nissa immediately extended invisible strings with stuck to the tall man's sickle. The weapon would be rendered useless until Nissa let go. "Who are you and what do want?"
As the sickle was rendered useless I get up and stand next to Nissa. "I wouldn't say traitor, I would instead say Enlightened. Anyway, I suggest you head back to your queen and inform her that her beloved Thangie is back in action. See where calling her old crush a traitor gets you." He does a small gesture. "Now run along."
The tall man closed a bladed grasp around the neck of the male. "Loyalty to the Queen.... Loyalty...until death..."
I grab my bladed whip and whack your right leg with it. The whip then wraps around it and the bladed dig into the skin. As I pull back the blades of the whip quickly cut through the skin as it unwinds. Making you loose your balance and grip.
The man easily found his balance again, his long joints. The pain did not matter to him one bit. "I heard your thoughts... I know... you have proven disloyal to the queen. Death is inevitable." The man ran off, his long spindly limbs limbs allowing him to travel quickly. The man highly disapproved of magic, one of the many things he would ban. Sauron was the adviser to the queen during his public appearance, a position that allowed him to be able to have the authority to decide to have a person executed on his word. Until later, the man would have to settle with the flesh of a woodland animal. His hunger would only be somewhat satisfied, but he was too hungry to decide otherwise...
"Any traitor of Nexis, is an allie of mine." Nissa tried to simply make thangerdaer feel not as guilty.
"Thank you. I sense a strong hate within that beast. I know of him from my time as a Slave Master. He is a hater of Magic, something that I know was one of the main reason's she chose me over him to rule alongside her. Along with my natural charm of course. He may be her top advisor but his anti-magic stance will be hard to push with the elven majority and the false queen herself being pro-magic." He shook Nissa's hand.
Nissa smiled at Thangerdaer, "Cry- I mean Nexis herself uses magic. Its a really rare type of magic. She uses time and space to take advantage and manipulate others to do her dirty work. Before she began this insanity, she tried to persuade my younger sister to join her and kidnapped her when she refused. Out of curiosity, Thangerdaer will you help me save my sisters or destroy Nexis?" (I promise I did spell everything correctly.)
Putting my katana in its sheath, I was going to leave. I had a newer objective, to kill the man who sent me on a false bounty. I was extremely pissed, I wanted no part of a war, no part of any conflict, yet this happens. I begin to walk off, ignoring anyone in my path, and anyone who spoke.
