Week of 2/1/2021: "Mikazuki Connection", from the soundtrack of Kyatto Ninden Teyandee. Sung by Pururun and Omitsu's respective seiyuu. And... Week of 5/2/2016: Ace of Base's "The Sign".
This thread is put on hold until further notice due to me taking a break from EP. I'll post a list of songs (though not the links) that have been selected since yesterday when I return. If I return. One never knows.
As promised, here's the list of SotWs that have turned up since my last post here. The only one with an actual embedded link will be the most recent one. 2/8/2021: "Turtle Power", by Partners in Kryme 2/15/2021: Descent Level One Remastered - Sunspire Records on YouTube 2/22/2021: Sean Mott's "No Goodbye" (with lyrics written by my dad and instrumentation by a friend of his, so I'm a bit biased) 3/1/2021: "101", by Walla 3/8: "Urgent", by Foreigner 3/15: "I Only Have Eyes for You", by The Flamingos 3/22: Hyrule Castle Exterior - Breath of the Wild OST 3/29: Dastardly Bomber's Machine - Super Bomberman 2 OST 4/5: "Cotton Candy", by Al Hirt 4/12: "The Best of Times", by Styx (there's actual context behind this choice; ask me if you're curious) 4/19: "Danse Macabre", by Camille Saint-Saƫns 4/26: "Stoptime Rag", by Scott Joplin (a.k.a. the theme of the Casual Failure series) 5/3: "Hey You", by Pink Floyd 5/10: Luigi's Mansion stage - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe OST 5/17: "Macahula Dance", by Dr. Macdoo (a.k.a. Week of 6/14/2021: Two Door Cinema Club's "What You Know". Those of you who've seen the Doors series may recognize this one.
Week of 6/21/2021: Spring Yard Zone, from Sonic the Hedgehog. Weird story, but I was addicted to the Weather Channel for a while because of this song. They had music that sounded very similar to this for their local forecasts back then.
Week of 7/5/2021: "True Love", by Bing Crosby and Grace Kelly. I can't recall whether my Dad was playing this song once or if I found it in a YouTube compilation, but it was in my "Possible song" list, so here it is. And... Week of 5/9/2016: Dave Foster's "Winter Games", associated with the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. I remember we used to have an official tape that gave the highlights of those events, but I don't know what happened to it. *shrug*
Week of 7/12/2021: "9.95", by Spunkadelic. Since the recording of the movie that I have was cut off after "Turtle Power" played (I blame one of my siblings), I never knew about this song until I found a sound clip of it during America Online's heyday. And... Week of 5/16/2016: Stevie Wonder's "My Eyes Don't Cry No More".
Week of 7/19/2021: WILD's "Vagabond". You're almost there, Twilight; just a few more doors. And... Week of 5/23/2016: George Harrison's "Got My Mind Set On You".
Week of 8/2/2021: "Mainland", by Cape Lion. And... Week of 5/30/2016: "Arisu of the Wavering City", from Namco X Capcom.
Week of 8/9/2021: Guts Man's stage music from Mega Man: Powered Up. And... Week of 06/06/2016: "Gauntlet 'GAUNTLET!!', by Mustin & Nate Cloud. It's a rearrangement of a song from the old NES Gauntlet game.
Week of 9/6/2021: Maxie and Archie's battle music from Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire. And... Week of 6/20/2016: "The Impression That I Get", by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
Week of 9/13/2021: INXS's "Not Enough Time". I tagged along with my older siblings and one of their friends when they bought this single at the local K-Mart late one evening, and I still have it somewhere.
