"Yes, ma'am," said Silver, respectfully dipping his head and then walking through the door that she had indicated.
Fernleaf nodded politely. Without saying anything, she wandered over to the pony that had been gestured at upon saying "Ms. Lilyliver." Ms. Lilyliver sounded like a creepy name. Fernleaf hoped deep down that the mare wouldn't be as creepy as her name was.
Sonicbeat dipped her head to Ms.Mellow, not trusting her tounge to say something polite. She was still wondering what had happened to Cherry. She slowly entered the room, Chaser... That was interesing, who would have something chaser? Ball chaser, Bug Chaser, Student chaser? She giggled at the last one before going to the pony. "Uhh... Hello?"
Silver entered a quaint room, decorated in hues of blue. A small couch dominated one wall, the other wall occupied by framed documents. In front of the young pony was an older, shriveled pegasus, who pushed a pair of glasses further up her snout. The ancient mare wore a crisp suit of indigo over her coat of power blue, and her bun was snowy white. She gestured at the couch, coughing weakly. "Hello, young sir," she wheezed. "I'm Ms. Gunpowder, your psychiatrist." *** As Fernleaf expected, the creepy name belonged to a rather strange looking pony. She was a unicorn, but her horn spiraled rather jaggedly. Her green mane frizzed out around her face, which was unusually bony and lean. The unicorn's flank was a sickly yellow color. The room around her was dim, but decorated similar to the outside, with a small chair and a lounging couch. The unicorn Lilyliver sat behind an intimidating oaken desk, and she seemed unaware of the filly. After a long moment of her ruffling through paperwork, she lowered orange eyes on Fernleaf, frowning. "Sit," she demanded. "I'm Ms. Lilyliver, your psychiatrist." *** Mr. Chaser was a pegasus of some size. He dwarfed the desk he sat behind, his wings tightly held to his body to prevent knocking over the expensive looking vases in each corner. As Sonic looked around, the room seemed very similar to the waiting room, with a couch and some pictures on the wall. Mr. Chaser cleared his throat and rubbed his hooves together. His mane was cut very short, and gleamed silver in the faint lamp light. His coat seemed to be a tannish, cream color, but he wore a strict blue suit over. "So, Ms. Beat." He began. "I see its your first full day here at Daisy Hills. Pleased to meet you, young filly, I'm Mr. Hail CHaser, your new psychiatrist."
"Um, psychiatrist?" Fernleaf questioned as she obeyed Lilyliver's orders. "Is there something wrong with my mind? I don't recall having any issues lately. Did I do something wrong?"
Lilyliver paused for dramatic effect, letting Fernleaf's questions hang in the air. "I ask the questions here, young filly. You don't have a diagnosis yet, that's why I'm here." She ruffled through her papers another moment, staring at one for a long minute, and then raised her head again. "I notice you didn't sleep very well last night, am I correct?"
"Yes, Ms. Lilyliver." Fernleaf confirmed. "I had a nightmare about my brother and some moths, but it was only a dream. I got over it pretty quickly." Fernleaf put a hoof on her chin. "Come to think of it, I woke up in somepony else's room. I have no idea how I got in there."
Star tried to not let everything get to her. She turned to a plant, and talked to it. "Ha are u? Meh? I' Fine!" Her eyes and mane got darker.
Silver looked around the room approvingly. Everything seemed very...neat, even the old pegasus' suit. He had a slight urge to arrange the framed documents on the opposite wall, just a little, but that would be rude. He smiled at the old mare and nodded. "Good morning, Ms. Gunpowder. I am sure you already know my name, but allow me to introduce myself; I am Silver Shield." After this, he sat on the couch and focused his attention on the psychiatrist. He was fairly happy; he still got nervous around Ms. Mellow, but Ms. Gunpowder seemed quite nice, especially compared to the psychiatrist he'd had at his previous school. He shuddered at the memory of him; he was always trying to "cure" Silver of his condition, sometimes going so far as physically restraining him from "fiddling with things". He hoped Ms. Gunpowder was nicer...
Sonicbeat nodded to the pony, Mr.Chaser. "Nice to, Um, meat you." She said leting her wings fold to her side as she watched the pony. "Psychiatrist? Aren't those for insane people?" She thought of Cherry berry, then wondered if they really were in a 'loony bin', as Fernleaf had said.
Cherry breathed softly as the voices in her head began to stir once more. Hello? See? Everything's cool... I'm scared... Shh. It's alright... It's all good. Yup. I wonder what everyone else is doing? Maybe they're locked in their own closets. Mango! Heh. Cherry shook her head and turned herself toward the door. With a shaky hoof, she tentitively knocked on the door. ""Hello? Is anypony there?"
Ms. Lilyliver nodded all-knowingly. "That is a common symptom of parasomnia, tsk, tsk." She wrote a few notes on a paper, her horn glowing a yucky yellow as the pen danced across the parchment. She then pierced Fernleaf with her cold gaze again, a look of frustration clear on her face. "So, Fernleaf, what is your favorite subject in school?" The question sounded like an accusation. *** Ms. Gunpowder smiled kindly at Silver. "So, young gentlestallion. You have a quick mind. It's a pleasure to meet you." She coughed dryly again, and rummaged through the papers on her desk. "So I have a few questions to ask, dear. First, to break the ice, what would be your favorite class in school?" She leaned back into her armchair, pushing her spectacles up a bit. *** Mr. Chaser snuffed out his nostrils at the filly, his large, bushy brows meeting in the middle of his massive forehead. It looked nearly comical, but the muscle mass of the pegasus would keep anypony from laughing. He took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down, and stared daggers at a paper on his desk. "So... Sonic. You like to talk, right?" The question was blunt, but seemed confusing. *** Meanwhile, in the isolation room, Cherry Berry's knocks echoed down an empty hall. She would start to experience a bit of panic (in at least one personality.) Her senses would heighten in the dim light, to the point where she could feel the light flicker and the shadows dance in the farthest corners. The floor is cold and hard.
Sinocbeat tilted her head slightly, wondering what he ment. "Umm somethimes." She said. "But if I don't concentrait, words get mixxed up..." She had to hold back laughter, even with the pegasuses large size.
Fernleaf frowned at the psychiatrist. "Para...sonia?" She attempted to say. Fernleaf shook her head and answered Lilyliver's question with "Well, I suppose I enjoy singing more than learning. I guess Choir would have to be my favorite subject."
Silver put a hoof to his chin. "We-e-ell, I like History...and Math, too. Oh, and Science, and...and reading! I love reading." He smiled, both at Ms. Gunpowder and at the thought of curling up in a warm, neat bed in a warm, neat room with a good book.
[Hey guys.. sorry about the late answer!!!! I move in two weeks, so things are hectic, and its a little difficult to come up with suitable RP situations at the moment.. let me get settled, and I'll attack this RP again!!]
(Must, let thread, live! Those not inside, post what you are doing while waiting!) Star continued talking to the chair, before turning her attention to the roof.
