(All right, I'll not over-post for those few days.) Silver walked into his dorm room. He immediately set about organizing things in a way that made sense to him. Hopefully his roomate wouldn't mind. Or maybe he'd be too crazy to mind. Who knew. As long as things stayed organized, Silver was a happy colt.
Star walked into her dorm room. Immediatly what caught her eye was a window to outside. "Wandow! STARZ! I'M COMING!" She then proceeded to look out the window, talking in some stuff not even possibble to make out.
As Fernleaf sat on her bed, Star wandered into the room. "Oh!" Fernleaf said, "Hel..." She trailed off as Star rushed towards the window without even looking at her. "...lo..." Star began saying the most random things possible. Fernleaf's confusion was obvious, but she tried to smile. "Umm...right, I'm gonna go to bed. G'night..." she said slowly as she lay back down. 'She's going to be interesting.' Fernleaf thought as she lay down.
[I'm back! *hugs for everypony*] Ultra followed Cherry Berry determinedly as she ran, and she sniffed impatiently as the strange filly starting rocking back and forth uselessly. With a shrug, she used her magic to lift the crying pony into their shared dorm room. She plopped Cherry Berry into the top bunk, and settled into her own. She felt rather lost in this large, white mansion, and began to go through her nightly cycles that would always take her away from anywhere she felt lonely. From her spot on the bed, she created a large, vibrant scene in the room around her. The white walls turned into grand, golden-framed windows, that looked out over a turbulent navy blue sea. Spiraling birds of every color circled above it, as colorful, strangely shaped boats floated across the water. Inside, flowers sprung up from the carpet, curling into large, spiraling plants that glowed gently and bobbed in a soft breeze. Squat, neon-spotted mushrooms sprouted from the corners, and a few luminescent butterflies danced in the misty air. All of this was only magic, she knew deep in her heart, but the dreamy place soothed her. *** Toxic Rain approached a dorm room, that hasn't been inhabited yet. The super-shy pony glanced about, and disappeared into it. She hoped vainly that she'd had a friendly, nice pony to roommate with her, but for now she didn't mind being alone. She slipped into her bed, and retrieved a book from her knapsack. She cuddled into the blankets, reading Chemisty: IV.
A butterfly floated up to Fernleaf and rested itself gently on her head. Giggling, she shooed it away. Jhera laughed too. "Those things are everywhere." He said. "Mother always told me they were good for flowers, so I let them frolick through my garden, unlike those pesky locusts. Butterflies are strangely...calming." Fernleaf glanced at a nearby butterfly, only to see a moth that had sharp little fangs sticking out. "AUGH!" She yelled as she fell backwards. Jhera gave her a confused look. "Is something wrong?" He asked. She looked at him, but couldn't speak. His eyes had become bloodshot, and he had large snake eyes for pupils. His teeth had grown to a tremendous size and were sharper than needles. "GET AWAY!" Fernleaf shouted in a panic. Jhera looked hurt. "I- I didn't-" he said, but Fernleaf had scrambled up and charged off, away from him. Thunderclouds began rolling in and the largest, most hideous moth ever appeared out of nowhere in front of her. It bared it's fangs at her and she cowered. "No! Please!" She shouted, sobbing. Fernleaf reopened her eyes to see a horrified Toxic Rain sitting in front of her. "I...I don't..." Fernleaf stuttered. She was going to say 'I can explain' but, in all honesty, she had no idea what just happened.
Toxic gasped, wondering why Fernleaf trembled at the foot of her bed. "Wha...?" She managed, pulling the book closer to her face.
(Oh, maybe I should have been more clear with that. Fernleaf wandered into her room screaming her head off, and then she woke up.)
After Silver was finished, his room was perfectly spotless and organized. He smiled, a bit tired. He finally felt calm; everything was orderly, and there was no reason for him to stay awake any longer. Today my bedroom, tomorrow the world, he thought, joking to himself. He got into his bed, careful not to disturb the carefully layered sheets and the pillow that had been de-lumpified and made equally fluffy on either end. He lay his head directly on the center of the pillow, and closed his eyes. After about 15 minutes of motionlessness, he was asleep.
(Okay, after reading the whole thing while I was gone, I finally figured out where my filly can be~) Sonicbeat's head drooped slightly, but then she flew towards her room to see Toxic Rain and a scared/confused Fearnleaf down at the edge of Toxic's bed. "Oh, I thought I had the right room... Wait, I think I do... Uhh.." Sonic paused and looked from one to the other. "Whats going on anyways?"
Fernleaf shook her head. "I reallu don't know...sorry for barging in here..." she blushed. "I'm just gonna...you know...go back to my room now..." she stumbled out the door and returned to her room, where she collapsed on her bed. What a day this had been...
Toxic pulled her covers tighter around her and pressed her thick book to her chest. "Um, hi," she said quietly to Sonic Beat. "I guess we're roommates then!"
Cherry plopped down on the bed after being carried by the cloud. She appreciated the comforting she recieved from the other students, but Jelly Jam was inconsolable. After a while of the others trying to comfort her, Jelly Jam fell fast asleep. Lemon Lime looked about her room and at Ultra Violet and the scene she had created. She sighed to herself, blowing a butterfly away in the process. Fernleaf was obviously troubled by what she had said, but something in Lemon told her that she was right. They were being locked up, but for what purpose? Who cares? Maybe we're too much pony. Shush. We're being rude. Then she spoke to Ultra Violet. "Um. How did you do that? It's very nice. Jelly fell asleep, so apparently it's very soothing, too. Thank you."
Toxic smiled faintly at Sonic. "I'm Toxic Rain. Nice to meet you, but I'm feeling rather sleepy, aren't you?" The filly gently yawned, pulling hoof to her mouth politely *** Ultra shrugged at Lemon, watching her eyes carefully. It was quite a conundrum to be several ponies trapped in one pony, she wondered to herself. "Thank you!! It's just my magic.. I see things in my head, but they're always different from the world really around me. So I.. try to change it." As she said that, her horn glowed gently, its aura encasing Cherry Berry's body. Her form shimmered, and an illusion turned her from a bright red pony with a green mane to a pony with a bright yellow coat and a curly mane of light green and gold. "See? I can see you!" She said, smiling.
Lemon Lime looked at herself as best as she could, then nearly leapt off of her bed. "Holy Horseapples! I-I- I've never seen anything like this before!" It was all she could do to keep herself from dancing around the room. "Your ability is simply amazing! She suddenly began hopping up and down in front of Ultra's face. "DOMENEXTDOMENEXT!!!!!" Despite Lemon Lime's best efforts, Straberry Cream's will was simply too strong.
"Yes, I am..." She said simply, then rolled over onto her side. "Well, I'll be going now..." She muttered, sounding half asleep already. Her eyelidswere to heavy anyways, and she wondered why she felt so tired when Toxic mentioned that. She quickly fell asleep, to fast to even ponder the earlier thought
Ultra smiled sleepily, but cloesd her eyes tightly as she concentrated again. She focused on Strawberry's sweet, high-pitched voice, and summoned the ghostly image of a peach-colored unicorn, with a long wavy mane of hot pink. She then fell back to her bed, the scene around them fading a little.
