My name is Daring Do. Number one explorer and adventurer the world has ever seen. This is one of my many adventures that I can tell about. The Authors disproved my story about the zombie bloodbath... But on with the story. I was lounging in a restaurant, waiting for the food to come. A black pony with a white mane slipped me a fortune cookie. "Odd," I thought. Fortune cookies are only passed to me when dealing with a top secret mission. I stashed it under my hat just as the waiter arrived. Later on that night I opened the cookie, even though I felt like I was being watched. It was a dispatch from a comrade I met in Saddle Arabia. It was more though. It was a cry for help. "Do," it read, "We need you. As the trees’ guardians we watch over it, but it has started to wither. We need your help. Bring a..." The message was torn. What tree? Where? A flurry of questions flooded my mind at that moment but I was saved by the afternoon milkman. I answered the door, with a bit of an edge to my voice. The milkman was slightly confused, but I closed the door before he could ask any questions. I sat down after getting some cider. "Maybe I can drink away my problems." All I got out of that was a hangover. After everything involving a toothless alligator (Or was it a crocodile?) I began to walk to the library. Knowing that my comrade had known the whole country, and all its dangers, it would not be in Saddle Arabia. “Tree... Too many trees in Equestria...“ Then it hit me. The answer lied in Zebrica. While many typos were in the text, I forgave him for being bad at the Equestrian language. He said a tree was withering, but what did he want me to bring? I flew home, knowing this adventure would be a memorable one. I packed up everything, and I mean everything I owned, and rented a boat: "The G4". I went out with the G4 and began to go out in the water. It was nice all around. But then something hit: A single large Male seapony hit the boat, HARD. We began to sink and I grabbed my most important items. The boat sank down, and the G4 was gone. Here I sat in the ocean, floating on a door, with an object approaching on the horizon. At first I wanted to swim, because I thought it was a shark. But then I realized that it was a tiny vessel, a fourth the size of the G4. The name read, "The G3". It was everything the G4 wasn't: A complete pile of metal. I climbed aboard, not noticing the driver, who snuck up from behind and put a sack over my head. The rest was a bumpy ride until... "Gutentag," a voice said. It was Bruno Bauer a German pony, and a long rival. The sack was lifted. "Ah yes Daring Do." His accent sounded like a pig with his mouth full, just what the fat lard looked like too. "Answer all mein questions. Only, saying ‘I don't know’ is verboten." I shuffled in the metal chair I was fastened to. He chuckled at me, "The pretty pony trying to escape? Verboten!" A shock coursed though me. Electric chair... He asked his first question, "Where is it?", and I sat silent. The fat pony in front of me, "You are under my control so I will make this easier." He pulled out a small dying half-black, half-white tree. "Yes, look into it." That's when everything fell blank. "Daring," said a comforting voice. "Wake up." I sat up and looked at the tree, now taller than a red oak. “I have brought you here because you have one thing many ponies don't have." "A cool hat?" I asked. "No." The tree was taking to me, "You have courage and bravery. I want you to take me and run when I wake you up." I was up before the tree could count. The guards and Bruno were gone. I ran all the way to the dock, the only boats, all departing. I looked over and climbed into a rice buggy that was carrying rice back to Equestria. After a long, bumpy, and grainy trip, I climbed out into a crowd of awestruck ponies. The tree was in my grasp, and it was more than average. It kept everything in check. It was the Tree of Harmony.
Finally got around to reading this! sorry man I didn't see you put this up until just now, so I'm about a month late. I am a derp sometimes lol:derpe: Anyways, Great job! a little confused about one line though, so maybe you can explain it to me. when it says "After everything involving a toothless alligator", what was that referring to? Was there a skip in time?
