"Sunburn... I-I love you..." Shadow whimpered, blushing harder than ever. She yawned and settled against him.
After a while, Sunburn wakes to find Shadow curled up against him and the door to the room, once securely shut, was torn off its hinges. Claw marks were everywhere... most noticeably on Shadow's side. Three deep, bleeding gashes were there, and she was trembling with fear.
Shadow almost let out a bloodcurdling scream, but bit it back. "S-Sunburn... ungh!" She cried, suffering from the pain. (Night)
Shadow whimpered, and pressed her face into his fur. "I-I feel c-cold..." She said, tearing up again. The blood wasn't showing any sign of stopping. "S-Sunburn... I'm s-scared..."
"Sunburn... I'm so sorry..." Shadow whispered, "I'm so sorry..." She was fading fast, "I-I love you... I love you so much..."
