Aima quietly opened the door to the Library and stepped inside once more. Her mane was now a mess and there was a spider crawling up the side of her leg. Embracing the arachnid with magic she opened a window and dropped it outside while reaching for a nearby brush. With an expert stroke she pulled the instrument through her hair and it was brought back to it's original form. She sat back down in her seat and adjusted her head band as she picked up her book and opened it back up. She chuckled to herself and glanced at Facade.
Blade was happily sitting near a bookshelf, reading, when he realized he was getting hungry when his stomach growled, 'another chapter and I'll get something to eat...'
He nodded slightly seeing Aima glance at him. He looked to be into his book and he actually was. He wouldn't say it but it was luck that made him look up slightly just in time to see Aima place the spider in position. He wasn't exactly sure what she was planning, but when it came to this he trusted her fully. 'Huh...She never answered my question...' He shook his head slightly and watched the room carefully.
Snow noticed Facade looking alert, but decided it was nothing and merely shifted to where her back faced the wall instead of the door and continued reading.
Blade stood up and put the book in his room before locking it. He then walked out the door, stomach growling. He decided to get a sandwhich... Or maybe just a nice apple, 'I'll decided later' he thought.
Aima put down her book for a moment and closed her eyes. She focused her will to manipulate the limbs of the spider she had released out the window moments ago. With an invisible hand, she lead the arachnid up the side of the tree and to a humble spot located just below Blade's window; out of sight. With a devious smirk her horn flared up more as she picked up the book as she simultaneously pumped more willpower into the 'spider'. On the surface she appeared to be enjoying a magical tome on transfiguration, while deep down she had really been using its knowledge to bolster a spell shell had cast while outside. The 'spider' outside snapped and jerked in place as it began to revert to its original form. It stretched and contorted until it had finall become a medium sized glowing mass of energy which began to shrink over time. With the trigger mechanism activated within the spell's formula, Aima put on a still faced as her mind shifted from a blank set of numbers and figures to the contents of her book. A few minutes passed and the orb continued to shrink and collapse in on itself; becoming more unstable as it went along. Then with a frightfully loud SNAP rang out from outside Blade's room followed by sounds of lightning and it concluded with a finale of a generic explosion. The noises sounded close but not close enough to have an effect on the treehouse. Aima gave a devious smile.
Brave "I knew she was up to something wrong" Brave Cape though as he watched the lights and heard the explosions. That was surely's Aima's doing. Before, that white unicorn almost saw him. She seemed to be more attuned with magic than the standard unicorns. Perhaps something between himself and Twilight. Or perhaps even more. Either way, when she began talking to him, or so it seemed to him; he began to shake his head violently, not daring to say a word. Either she dismissed him as a figment of her imagination, or agreed to their silent deal, because the next moment she was arguing with that Aima figure. No one else noticed him until then. That explosion did not scare him; he learned to control his impulses, or let them free whenever it seemed to be better. Usually, though, it was better to control them. He looked around the tree where the library was hosted. There didn't seem to be any damage. Just what was Aima doing? Should he interfere? All his cells screamed yes. He dispelled his spell and gallopped straight to the source of that... Phenomenom. After searching and getting used to the heavy light, he saw the form of a unicorn on a tree. And then he screamed: Brave "What did you just do? Did you want to burn Twilight's house up?"
Blade was sitting at a table, eating a sandwich, when he heard an explosion that sounded like it came from the library. 'A spelled probably went wrong...' He thought as he paid for the sandwich and began to walk back to the library.
Snow had been shocked by the explosion. Almost instantly she started using a Aura spell to detect what caused it. She saw to aura's outside, one by a window, the other closer to the door. She walked through the door, eyes purple as a result of the spell, "What's going on?" she asked.
Aima gingerly jumped out of her seat and set her book down on the floor. She grasped the door handle with a magic aura and stepped outside approaching Snow. Stepping in front of her she looked once at the white pony, then at the windowsill she was so intently peering at. The large oak was completely unscathed and the surrounding area maintained the same appearance as well. Her eyes darted around the air for a moment before picking up a small puff of smoke wafting through the air before eventually vanishing into the atmosphere. "Hmm, curious, wouldn't you agree?" she said
"Indeed." Facade said walking up to Aima and Snow. He had a look of surprise on his face as he never expected Aima to let loose a magical bomb in Ponyville. "Where is the guard? Should he not have come running out? Someone might be hurt for all we know!" Facade knew Aima wouldn't hurt any pony but he was genuinely surprised the Pony hadn't come flying out of the tree house.
The explosion shook the ground of which Jhera walked on. He looked all around him to see what could possibly be causing such a nightmarish quake! Jhera turned and saw the explosion coming from the place he had just been at. 'Oh dear, this is bad!' He began to panic, and ran back in the direction of the Library.
Blade looked at the library, it seemed fine. He walked inside to see everypony was still there, "is everypony ok? I heard an explosion."
Jhera ran up to the library, to find it completely intact. 'Huh?' he wondered. 'I could have sworn this place exploded, I must have been overreacting!' Jhera chuckled nervously to himself and walked inside.
Aima glanced over and smirked at Blade as he stepped out of library. "Ah so the sentinel finally makes his arrival. One would believe one with your position, you'd have been eager to investigate especially since you were oh so zealous about persecuting me over renting a tome, especially to such exuberance as to pull a weapon on me. Now what business do you have simply bumbling there? Go investigate officer, I shall return to my studies. Have fun you two~" she said as did an about face and strolled back inside and stopped and turned to a pony who had screamed at the sound. "Oh and DO be sure to quell the fear within bystanders, I'd like it to be a tranquil afternoon if you don't mind."
Blade looked around, "It doesn't look like there was any damage done, so I don't see a point in investigating it." He walked inside and went into his room and sat down to read again. 'This vacation turned out to be really relaxing...' he thought
Facade stared in shock as the guard went back into the library with not a single glance towards the site of the explosion. His eye twitched and he turned to Aima in shock. "There is something seriously wrong with that pony. He is a guard...And won't go check a blast site?! What is wrong with him?" Facade facehoofed in frustration.
Jhera caught sight of Facade and trotted up to him. "Just wondering, I swore I heard an explosion up here, did anything happen?" He asked. "If somepony's hurt, I have some herbal remedies with me that might...ok well, maybe not the remedies themselves, but I have the flowers needed for them. So, is everypony ok?"
